Neither of my daughters would eat directly from the "spigot", so I got an Avent Isis because I wanted to feed them breastmilk as long as I could. With my first, I pumped with the Isis for 10 months, until I got pregnant again and my milk production went into the toilet. With the second, I pumped for 5 months, then dried up inexplicably. I think it was the stress. But this is a very easy pump to use. I have overly-large breasts, and I had to take the rubber thing out of the horn because it wouldn't get good suction, but with it out, it was fine. I used to have contests to see how long I could get a stream to keep going. LOL  Hey, when you're sitting there pumping for a half hour at a time, you have to keep yourself amused somehow.

So, if you want to pump full time and can't afford an electric pump, get the Avent Isis.

Thanks Ron! It gave me the warm fuzzies to know that I was doing what was meant to be done, even if it wasn't the most efficient way. LOL And I saved a ton of money over using formula. ;-)

My Mom breastfed all of us and I think breast milk is the best way to insure that infants get the nutrients they need to keep them healthy. Kudos to you for starting your children out on a healthy life! Ron
