I used a hospital grade pump with my first child, but didn't have a need to pump as much with my second.  I read good review about this pump so I purchased one.  It is a fair price for a manual pump.  It was used about 4-5 times a week for the first 6 months.  It required slow steady pumping.  If I got to fast with pumping, the plug popped out and required me to fish it out of the expressed milk.  Slow and steady wins the race.
