Easy to clean, BPA-free plastic, and simple assembly.

We went with these bottles due to the British study on the compatibility of Avent bottles and breastfeeding. I nursed my son exclusively for seven months, but started with part-time bottle feeding at 3 weeks due to my need to return to work. We expereinced no nipple confusion and enjoyed the relatively simple assembly in comparison to the multiple parts of Dr. Brown's bottles. Additionally, we were thrilled to learn after the fact that Avent bottles are the only plastic bottles on the market that are BPA-free (they don't release potentially harmful chemicals due to plastics attrition).
