Most HelpfulI registered for these bottles as well as other brands. I liked the Avent bottles, because they are easy to use and easy to clean. Their size is what was confusing to me. They aren't tall and slim like most bottles, they are short and fat. The benefit to this is that it's easier to drop in formula, using...

Most HelpfulI have a two month year old son , and we use Avent baby bottles. I was told that they were THE bottle to get, but I'm not sure I think so now. It's not that they are a bad product, but if you don't line the air vacs up just right with the fins in the bottle ring you'll have the bottle leak a LOT, and...
review »Avent brand bottles by Phillips grow with your child. They have three stages of nipples and sippy cup attachments. The bottles themselves come in three different sizes: 4oz 8oz and 11oz. The bottles are very durable and the wide style of them make them eaiser to clean that most narrow bodied bottles, which makes it a winner alone in my opinion. The design of the nipple and ring with the bottle makes it vertually leak proof (providing you have the top on). Like i mentioned before you can get the nipples in 3 different stages to grow with the development of your baby. the different stages are...
review »I have two children and I used Avent bottles with both of them. I absolutely love the fact that they have a wider opening. Whether you are using breast milk or formula, you virtually have no mess because the wider opening allows you to easily pour milk or formula powder into the bottle. The wider shape also makes it easier for my chubby handed little one to hold onto. My Avent bottles are also very durable. They have lasted through two children. I bought nipples for each stage of their growth. They start off with very slow flow for babies and a faster flow for growing babies. I have tried fancy...
review »Avent bottles are decent bottles, but do tend to leak. They are very particular when you put them together, with patience you can get them to work without leaking. I like the fact that they have four different nipple flow choices in nipples, unlike a lot of bottles that only have fast and slow.
I have been using avent bottles since i had my first son Aiden. I have to say, i kept reading those reviews online that said they were horrible bottles and they leak. I said, what the heck, ill give them a try. At first, im not gonna lie, they did leak. My purse would be soaking wet and the bottle empty. But then i started to check the bottles and tip them before i put them in my purse to make sure they were closed properly. since then, ive been really happy with these bottles. My kids both loved them, and they do have training cups for when older. The bottles look nice too. I am...

review »Being new parents we were left with the delema of which bottle to use when breast feeding was not an opinion. Doing a minimal reaserch on-line, asking parents at the hospital, and friends that we had with babies we finally decided to go ahead and purchase the Avent bottle; we first bought the 4oz bottles and they worked great. Our baby had not problem getting use to them. He also did not have the common problems with the bottle user, such as: gas and spit ups did. They seem to work great so we went ahead and bought the 9oz bottles and the only thing...

I absolutely love the Avent baby bottles.
Leaking is no longer an issue for me and my son does not have to be 'bathed' in dripping formula or breast milk anymore!
The parts snap together nicely and no matter how much these bottles get tossed around or dropped constantly, they have been proven by me to be durable. (I open the fridge a bit hard sometimes and bottles go flying across the kitchen - but no breaking! Not yet at least!)
I have to use a thicker formula for my son and both sizes of this bottle have extra room, making it easier to mix.
Cleaning is also a breeze with this product because...
review »I've read several reviews about the Avent baby bottles that makes me question what is up. I love these bottles. It's about the only bottle I used with my son and I've kept them all to use with my baby due this year. (I didn't save the nipples of course, but I will be certainly buying them soon!!) They are easily cross-threaded when putting the tops on, but if you pay attention, they are really very easy and wonderful. They do seem to help with the flow and keeping the air out. The nipples are easy to clean, which I make a point of telling you this because we don't have a dishwasher,...
review »I love the Avent 9oz. BPA free bottles, but I hate the fact that every time I put the top on, somehow it is always crooked (on every bottle) and it leaks. I dob't think it is me, but again it happens every time. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Also they are a little pricy, but fit within reason to my tight budget. Other wise I like them and feel secure in knowing that they are BPA (Bisphenol A) free. My baby doesn't have any issues with them either. They also clean easily. I have been given a few different types of baby bottles, but the avent bottles are what I prefer, especially due to the...
review »I tried these bottles with both of my daughters because I was told that they were the best. We all want the best for our kiddos. I breastfead, because I think that is the best, but needed bottles for pumped milk while I was at work. I wasn't happy about the price of these bottles, but spent the extra money to try a few. In the end, they weren't the best for either child. My first child was pretty flexible with bottles, but prefered the Playtex with the disposable liners. My second child was only fond of Mommy's nipples. After lots of crying we concluded that the Nuk nipples worked...
review »I love my Avent baby bottles. My first daughter used these bottles from birth and they work great. I used to teach at a preschool and when I was pregnant, all the mom's suggested I use Avent. They had told me out of all the bottles on the market, this one was the best and inexpensive. They also loves that it helped reduce colic. I thought to myself, why not try Avent since all the mom's recommed it. When I first bought the Avent bottle, I loved the sturdy, high quality of the product. The only downfall of this bottle is that if you don't close the botte properly then the bottle will leak. It's...
review »The Avent BPA free bottles were recommended to me by a friend. These are my first baby bottle as well. I used it for the first 2 months, then found that my baby spit up at every feeding. I changed to playtex nursers and they are better for reducing spit ups.
Cleaning: the avent bottles are easy to clean. easy to assemble. I sterilize them in the avent microwave steamer.
Feeding: these bottles leak if you are not careful! I always turn them to the side and rotate them to make sure there is none or little leakage at the bottle ring before I give it to my baby. I do find that only bottle rings/nipple...
