We have used this product with the youngest to the oldest. I have found this product great for diaper rash, dry, cracked skin and insects bites on my children. I have used this product and love it for a relaxing bath that leave our skin feeling smooth, clean and soft, It was a comfort to a child with chicken pox, one with poison ivy and ant bites. It just leave the irritated skin soothed and relaxed. As adults we have used this product in our bath after a long stressful day just to relax. Great after working in the hot sun all day, it soothes the sunburn and has kept our skin from peeling. I have used it myself after having a itchy rash from cleaning a brush field. I have also used this product on our fur members of the family. Our dog developed hot spots on his coat, after a couple of Aveeno Soothing Baths his coat was looking great. He stopped clawing at it after the first bath so it must have stopped the itch. There really isn't anything I can say negative on this product, it has become a regular stable item in our home. I wish we would have found it years ago.

I absolutely love this product! I have used it for myself, my children, and also two of my pets and it worked fantastically on everyone and everything. My son has eczema and we use this for his soaks and it stops the itchy redness and helps it to reduce his flare ups. I used it on my really old dog when she had a bad skin break out from flea medicine. She was very itchy and sore and this was the only thing that helped her and it helped her a lot and she was finally able to heal up. Last year my son got hand foot and mouth which is a terrible thing to have that's very painful and itchy. This was the only thing that helped him. It was summer so we dissolved a packet in a Rubbermaid tub and let him play in it. It totally stopped the itching and he was able to sleep comfortably once we started using this. The Last time I used it was for my horse who got a little rain rot. I made a paste out of a package and applied it all over his spots and let it sit overnight and brushed it off in the morning and repeated this for another two days. He started to heal almost immediately. I can't say enough about this stuff. Everyone should have a box on hand for any skin issues that may happen. It's great for poison ivy and other things like that too. It stops the itching and it's safe and gentle too!

I love this stuff! I have a son with eczema and it works wonderfully for him. I have also used it for a little dog for her skin issues. She had red sore skin on her belly and after using other things and getting no results I tried this. I used about a quarter of a packet and let her soak and it stopped her chewing and scratching and healed her up after a few uses. I also used it for my horse recently. He had rain rot on his back and rump. I mixed a package with water until it was a paste like consistency and rubbed it on all his spots and left it overnight. In the morning I brushed it off and wiped the rest off with a wet rag. I did this three days and he cleared up and started to heal. Rain rot is very hard to get rid of sometimes and this stuff did the trick. I will always keep this on hand as it is great for skin issues. I also had my little guy in a lot of pain due to hand foot and mouth and I used this for him too. We mixed a package up in a Rubbermaid tub out on the lawn and let him play in it during the summer and that was the only thing that remotely soothed the ha d foot and mouth blisters. He was in agony and couldn't stop itching and this stopped it and he was able to sleep comfortably. It's worth every penny and everyone should have some for skin issues that may pop up.

Overall, this is a good product. I was not "blown out of the water" by its performance, but it was decent. I purchased it because my youngest son has a mild eczema issue on his arms and back and I couldn't find any lotion that would immediately soothe his itchy and red skin. After putting him in the bath with the Aveeno Soothing Bath oatmeal treatment, he seemed happier. After about five minutes in the bath, he was no longer scratching the dry areas that were bothering him a short while before. Effectiveness This product is effective, although not immediately. It took five to ten minutes in the Aveeno Soothing Bath for results to be seen (and for children, thats a long time). However, after a few minutes in the bath, the scratching subsided and I was able to put a medicated lotion on him. This product allowed enough relief to my son so that I could put the appropriate medication on him and he wouldn't wipe it off with constant scratching. Scent It is a light, pleasant, oatmeal scent.

Aveeno Bath Treatment is something that I always like to keep in the house. It creates a really soothing bath whether your skin is irritated or not. I have used it to relieve itching from everything from hives to dry skin with my entire family and with very few exceptions it always offers relief. It is also nice to use even when your skin isn't itchy because it leaves skin looking and feeling really soft and moisturized. Effectiveness How well this works for me seems to have a lot to do with what is wrong with my skin in the first place. I have used it on dry, itchy skin and even hives with great results but when I am having an excema flare it seems to make it worse, of course almost everything else I have tried does too. Scent There isn't much scent to this at all, which I think is a good thing since the whole point of it is to soothe skin that is already irritated and adding fragrance would certainly irritate my skin. What little scent there is comes from the oatmeal I guess, since it smells a bit like a bowl of oatmeal. It is very mild and completely unoffensive.

I LOVE this oatmeal bath treatment! My 3 year old daughter has been struggling with diaper rash for the past year or two. Whenever it gets bad I give her a bath with this Aveeno treatment. She loves it. It helps the pain and she is able to relax in the tub. It's soothing and calming and I can rest easy because it's gentle on her sensitive skin. It's all natural and has no harsh chemicals. I love that. It is very effective in helping sooth and eliminate diaper rash. There is really no scent to it so that is nice. Both of my kids (3 years and 4 years) love having oatmeal baths with this product. It keeps their skin soft, clean, and irritation free. Another thing I love about it and that it's reasonably priced and can be purchased at most drug stores. Very convenient. I would recommend this to anyone. Especially parents with small children who have sensitive skin. It's very relaxing for adults as well.

The Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment is AH-MAZING. It is great for skin irritations and those who have dry itchy skin. A friend originally used this product due to a doctor suggesting it when they had a severe case of poison ivy. [I'm not allergic to poison Ivy, so I can't personally say, but this product helped her out IMMENSELY.] The box comes with like 8 packets in it and my friend gave me one of them to try because she knew I had skin problems. You simply pour the packet into your bath and kind of stir it around a little so it all gets dissolved. It makes the water a milky color. It has a light scent that's nice. It's really soothing when you're sitting in the bath. I have very dry skin and in the winter time it is really itchy, especially on my legs. The Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment treats the dryness and itchiness on my legs SO well. I went out and bought a box of the product and I still use it a few times during the winter. I find the product a little expensive so I try not to use it too much. I really recommend this product to those who have dry itchy skin. It won't further irritate your skin and it's really soothing. Also, for my friend it really helped her with her poison ivy.

I broke out in hives due to a seasonal allergic reaction and was out of effective options. In desperation, my husband went to the pharmacy and came home with this. I was originally hesitant about dumping a packet of oatmeal in my bath, but I was willing to try anything! After getting in the bathtub and soaking for a few minutes, I found extreme relief. I would take these baths multiple times a day until my doctor came up with a more permanent solution. Since this experience, I have recommended this oatmeal bath to my children. I have used it for my daughter with a Strep rash, for my son with a pet allergy, and for my baby with Roseola. For each of these three situations the bath seemed to bring them relief. My baby was absolutely miserable with Roseola and the doctor told me that his rash should not be itchy, but he just wouldn't stop crying. The only time he would quit crying was when he was in the oatmeal bath. I have to believe that his rash was indeed irritating him and that this oatmeal bath helped it subside.

This bath treatment by Aveeno had been a life saver for my dry, itchy legs that have a tendency to break out in little dry bumps that make it impossible to wear short shorts or skirts. I think that the idea of a bath treatment is really a brilliant one, because it allows your skin more time to absorb the moisturizing treatment than it would just rubbing something on quickly in a shower. Allowing my skin to soak in this treatment during my twice weekly baths has been so therapeutic for my skin. It does take a little bit of time to dissolve once it is in your bath water, and it also has a tendency to sort of clump up if you do not whish the water around a little while pouring it in. I like to put mine directly in the stream of the faucet water while filling my tub to ensure that it gets dissolved well. Once I have soaked in it for a bit, I get out with soft, refreshed skin that has a noticeable reduction in redness and bumps.
