When cold weather hit last year my skin started itching and flaking something awful, particularly my upper arms. I figured it was time to ditch the harsh deodorant soap routine in the shower and switch to a body wash. I found Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash at the grocery store and picked up a bottle. Aveeno products are fabulous! I have used them all my life. I have ventured away when money was tight , but the alternatives are not the same. I found a way to squirrel away money to be able to pay for the quality Aveeno provides. As a young child, I had some minor skin issues. We had tried many different treatments, including prescription lotions. After numerous trials and errors, the dermatologist recommended Aveeno products- specifically the oatmeal bath. I have been an avid user of AVEENO BODY WASH AND SKIN LOTION for dry skin for several years, probably as many as 15 or more years. My skin suffered so bad that I went to a dermatologist back at that time and he recommended AVEENO over any prescription meditcations that were on the market. I had a horrible case of poison oak this summer followed immediately by a huge flare up of eczema. After trying a number of things recommended by my family doctor he agreed needed more help. I've tried like most different soaps, body washes for my skin. And being I have dry and oily skin and am prone to cysts, the Drs. ecommended antibacterial soaps. Well used Dial body wash, yet I still suffered with dry skin and got fed up buying more moisture products to use after a shower! For the cost, this is a good moisturizing body wash. Something I definitely need during the winter when the dry air of furnaces turn me into human jerky. — — Bottle is bulky, but if you are using a buff, loofah or brush, you really only need to handle it once. Don't expect a great amount of sudsing. This is probably due to the high moisturizing content. I have dry senstive skin on my legs. I like a good shower but soap left my legs dry and itchy. In a store, I saw Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash. This is a great body wash like all body washes it gets you clean. But this is better it makes your skin so soft and even has a nice smell. Anyone could appreciate that dont you think so if you are thinking of buying this product consider this: does the soap you use leave you dry and itchy? this does the opposite! When I got this product as a sample, I didn't have dry skin. It still made my skin feel smooth and moisturized. My husband has very sensitive skin and many products irritate him. Lately, he his having a lot of trouble with dry, itchy skin. The Aveeno Body wash (and some other Aveeno products) are the only things that are working in giving him some kind of relief. I've suffered from dry skin all over in the winter for years and this body wash, helps to get me through it. It's also helped me when I had razor burn on my legs and sunburn on my arms and back. It seems like it would be soothing for any skin condition really. My dermatologist is the one who recommended it to me, so I figure it must be pretty high quality.
