Aveeno Positively Ageless Lifting and Firming Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 Reviews

 I started using Aveeno products this past winter because my normal brand was really getting out of control with their prices.  I had seen TV ads about Aveeno and wondered if they were as good as they say.  I am so happy with their products and they are about $7 cheaper then the other top store brands.

If you're really after natural skincare, you should be tossing your Aveeno in the rubbish bin.   Aveeno's extremely successful marketing of its products as "natural" is just that - marketing.  The primary ingredients in, for example, the Positively Ageless Lifting & Firming Night Cream are, after water and glycerin:

Dimethicone, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Cetyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Cyclohexasiloxane, and Polyacrylamide.

Most of these are decidedly not natural; they are synthetic chemicals, several of them not especially good for living things. ...

I wasn't really sure about spending the money on this product, but I am a huge fan of almost anything by Aveeno so I decided to give it a try. I needed the SPF 70 and wanted something good for my face as well. I am currently undergoing laser hair treatment on my face so I have to stay out of the sun as much as possible. And wear high SPF sunblock all the time.

Which isn't so easy when it's nice and sunny and you've got softball games to go to or days at the beach.  BUT This Aveeno product worked great for me. I have spent numerous hours in the sun and my face hasn't felt the effects.  I do reapply...

I always thought that breakouts would stop (or at least become far less frequent) once I left my teen years behind. Alas... I'm still waiting. I've tried all the Clearasil, Stridex "teenie-bopper" products out there, but as I've gotten older, they seemed to be too harsh for my skin. Plus, they weren't completely stopping the breakouts. So the dryness and irritation they caused for my skin just didn't seem worth it.

In winter, especially, I need a moisturizer or I get dry spots on my cheeks and jaw line. A few months ago, I discovered Aveeno Clear Complexion Moisturizer, and I've been hooked ever...

I have used other Aveeno products in the past with good results, so when this one came out, I wanted to try it. It contains a shiitake mushroom & wheat protein formula that is in line with Aveeno's "all natural" branding. I do think it's a bit pricey for a drugstore brand (about $20 for 1.7 oz) but so far, it's lasted over 2 months--I only applied this to my cheeks and eye area so a little goes a long way.

I'm 37 with combination/dry skin and I have some light wrinkles around my eyes. I'm also sensitive to certain ingredients and concerned about breakouts. This cream has a nice thick consistency,...

I have used expensive creams but have found the Aveeno line to be the best.  It is reasonably priced, highly effective.  My skin is softer with less fine lines.  It is available at grocery stores and mass marketing stores so I don't have to go to a department store.   I have noticed a definite improvement in the texture and feel of my skin since using this product  Aveeno postively ageless night creme.

There is not sense in spending money on cremes from the department stores that do not have the quality of ingredients found in this product when you can but Aveeno Positivley Ageless night...

I have used Aveeno Positively Ageless for about six weeks now.  I really like the appearance of my face and the fact that it has a higher SPF.  In the first week I found that I would have a burning sensation right after I put it on and ended up with dry skin.  I was using it in the morning and I was using Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting cream at night.  I believe using both was too much for my skin.  After a week of using only the Aveeno I have had no further burning sensation and have not experienced it since.

Great moisturizer that sinks in quickly.  Non greasy and doesn't contribute to my acne issues.  I also love the fact that it's an SPF30.  My face is still 'sunless' while my arms and hands are quite tan. Time to get the Aveeno SPF lotions for my hands/arms!!

My only complaints are that after application, when applying makeup (I use BE).  At times, the moisturizer will almost peel off?  Leaves something that almost looks like pills on a sweater.  Have to brush that off gently.  Another issue I have with this product is that WAY too much comes out for application to face with one pump. ...

I am one that has tried many many different moisturizers,day and night ones along with different anti-aging creams. I had heard many things about this product so I decided to try it for myself. The first thing I noticed was the scent.I just couldnt get over how much I did not like the scent of this product and hated smelling it on my face while I layed down to sleep at night.I could possibly get over that if I thought this product really improved my skin at  all. Aveeno poitively ageless lifing and firming daily is very light and silky. It makes my skin feel smooth. It allows me to have a smooth complexion after putting on foundation.
