Before using this shampoo my hair was straw dry, my scalp was itchy, and I kept finding little white flakes on my clothes. I tried several dandruff shampoos and they left my hair dried out and irritated my scalp. After trying all the commonly used dandruff shampoo ingredients like coal tar, zinc, and salysilic acid with no results I was desperate to find an alternative that wouldn't bother my scalp. In my search for a new shampoo I spotted Aveeno Nourish+Soothe. Because it didn't contain harsh chemicals and had natural ingredients to soothe the scalp I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did! First thing I noticed is that after rinsing the shampoo out my hair feels soft like I just used conditioner, not stripped and tangly like most shampoos do. Immediately after using it my scalp was less itchy. The flakes are almost gone, which is an added plus as they do not advertise this as a dandruff shampoo. After repeated uses my hair is so soft and shiny! Recently I went back to my old shampoo and noticed a huge difference in the health of my hair; it was so dry and lifeless in comparison. I highly recommend this to anyone with scalp issues, it is a Godsend.
