I bought Aveeno Daily Moisturing Lotion because I wash my hands frequently everyday, resulting in very dry hands. I almost constantly have dry hands. I also have very sensitive skin, and fragrances irritate my skin.

I made an interesting and accidental discovery too. A couple of weeks ago I worked outside for 5 days straight, and I had over 30 mosquito bites. I rubbed this lotion over 'my sunburn', but what I discovered is that it made the mosquito bites stop itching, wow. I assume that it stopped the itch because it has colloidal oatmeal in it, hmmm?

We use this lotion on our child and have been since he was a baby. It comes in a large bottle with a pump, making it easy to dispense, and it is unscented so perfect for kids who might be sensititve or have allergies. It is also sold at Costco and quite a good deal there. The whole family likes it! It's nice to be able to buy one kind of lotion. It is a great product and their other products are good too (baby wash and sunscreen.)

In my opinion, the only problem I have is that it's pretty expensive for how little the bottles are. I use this stuff everyday and for how fasts it emptys out- I wish they could make a huge value bottle for a "low" price point. I end up buying a bottle a month that costs me 10... review »

I have tried many lotions, and Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion-by far-is the BEST! It smooths your skin without making it feel greasy-and it really does last for 24 hours! You are left with very soft and smooth skin! I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from dry skin.
I asked at the pharmacy why so many lotions made me itch, and she said that it probably was the parabens that caused the problem, so I started trying products that did not have parabens. And ever since , I check ingredients for parabens. This is one of the few products that does not have parabens, and since I started using Aveeno, I have had NO problems. I love it. It goes on nice, and blends in quickly, so that your hands are not greasey feeling. I would give it 1000 stars if I could, it has been a lifesaver for me. I have a 2 and half yr old girl and she has itchy skin and suffered from eczema since she was a baby. I work in an office for part of the day that is basically one large room filled with cubicles. The people who are in the office don't have the ability to directly control the temperature in the room. I am a fan of most Aveeno products, having first been introduced to their oatmeal baths as a child with the chickenpox. This lotion is no different. I have very dry skin and eczema, so multiple daily applications of lotion are a necessity. My dermatologist recommended this lotion, and I find it is perfect for the summer. I am a very busy career woman. I'm not one of those women that spend all day trying to look good. I am extremely picky about my bath products and my lotion is no exeption. I have a problem with lotions that are too thick and leave my skin feeling greasy and sticky.I also cannot stand lotions that feel like water when they go on.
