Aveeno Daily Moisturing Lotion Review

I am a fan of most Aveeno products, having first been introduced to their oatmeal baths as a child with the chickenpox.  This lotion is no different.  I have very dry skin and eczema, so multiple daily applications of lotion are a necessity.  My dermatologist recommended this lotion, and I find it is perfect for the summer.  (It is not quite enough moisture for my skin during the harsh New England winters, but I should caveat this by saying that winters sometimes require me to coat myself in Aquaphor or Vaseline wrapped in plastic wrap.)  The rest of my family, which has normal to oily skin, uses this lotion year-round.

I find this lotion soothes my itchy dry skin quite effectively, which I assume is the oatmeal at work. It absorbs quickly enough post-shower that I can get dressed without feeling greasy or getting lotion stains on my clothes.  I detect a slight scent to the lotion, but I don't think it's a perfume; I think that is just what the ingredients happen to smell like, and it's a pleasant enough scent that it doesn't bother me.
