I love and hate tea tree oil scent
I would like to start this off by saying that the smell of tea tree oil has never been on my list of favorite smells. It has a strong and distinctive odor that I actually find a bit offensive. Still, it's very effective at treating the skin for various things. This shampoo is great for the scalp though the tingles take a little bit to get used to. The tingly lets you know that it's working. This isn't a shampoo that I, personally, would recommend for daily use. If used a lot, it can turn out to be a bit drying. Even after it dried my scalp, though, it still didn't cause any increase in flakes or dandruff. I find that twice a month usage is what works best for my own personal needs. I keep a bottle of this shampoo around for those days when my skin is just too itchy to bear. Yes, I admit to using it more as a body wash than a shampoo. Don't tell my family! The cooling property of the soap on the skin is quite refreshing. It almost seems to help clean any of the random scratches that the dog gives me better than just soap but I don't have any proof of that.
