I have tried a lot of organic conditioners and I have to say I love the results I get from Avalon Organics Lavender Conditioner. I have curly, gray, color treated hair and this conditioner make it soft (and smell great)! I find that my hair does not look dry but soft curls form as my hair dries. Effectiveness When I can find an organic conditioner that makes my hair soft I don't change! I'm a no fuss person & when I can shampoo & condition my hair and know it will look great if I forget to use styling products I'm thrilled. Scent I love the smell of lavender! There just enough scent that remains that I personally love.

I have been trying to cut down on the number of human-made chemicals that I allow into my home, and especially onto and into my body. Because of this, I started shopping around for a new conditioner to use, hoping I would come across a natural/organic conditioner that I liked enough to use regularly. I was initially attracted to this conditioner because of the scent. I love anything lavender, and this conditioner smells absolutely heavenly. I loved how much it reminded me of the fresh lavender that I grow in my garden! I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, it left my hair very greasy. I tried it for about a week, and I just couldn't get on board with it. The wonderful scent just isn't worth my hair being so gross! Effectiveness If you are prone to your hair getting greasy, this will make your hair into a complete disaster. Maybe people who don't get greasy hair can use it just fine, but I sure couldn't. Scent The smell is amazing. I wish I had it in room spray form.

I really enjoyed this Avalon Organics conditioner. This product left my hair feeling soft, and looking bouncy, shiny, and healthy! I feel good using it and knowing that it is healthy for me and better for the environment. I would definitely use this again and look forward to trying out more of this company's products in the future! Effectiveness This conditioner is super effective. My curs bounced, shone, and did not frizz or get oily. I love how it penetrates your hair immediately and does not just coat and wash away. My hair was easy to style and did not feel 'weighed down' by waxes. This is a great product for the entire family, as it is neutrally scented and works for all hair types. Scent Lavender is my favorite scent, as it layers easily with other scents and does not clash with your body wash or lotion. My husband was even able to use this without smelling feminine. My children enjoyed the smell as well!

After reading a book about holistic living and how to live a healthier happier life, I decided that I should try organic hair care items. The book mentioned that by not using organic and natural ingredients you actually put a lot of toxins into your body by using normal hair care products. I bought this conditioner at Whole foods. I have to say I was really disappointed. I read the ingredients and everything was natural and organic but the product didn't work at all. I absolutely adored the scent of this product. The lavender smelled so good, so when I was in the shower I really had high hopes for this product. My hair felt kind of soft after rinsing out the product but I wasn't amazed or anything. The worst part was the residue it left in my hair and on my scalp. I was itching my scalp all night long and my hair looked extremely greasy like I had just worked out or something. It was so bad I had to re wash my hair that very night so it wasn't so itchy and ugly!

Prior to the formula change in 2011 or 2012, this WAS a great product...now it is worthless, damages your hair, & does not even have a good scent anymore...When I complained to the company, they insisted that they had only made "improvements" ...DO NOT waste your money on it... Effectiveness leaves hair with a straw like feel & tangly Scent The old formula was GREAT, now not so much...hardly any lavender scent at all

I use the Organic Avalon Lavender Hair Conditioner for my hair. I like that it is free of chemicals and has only a very light natural scent which goes away after my hair is dry. I don't like the shampoo and conditioner that leaves a strong chemical perfume smell in my hair. The Organic Avalon Lavender Hair Conditioner smells a bit strong in the shower but goes away almost immediately after my hair is dry. I assume because it is an essential oil instead of a solvent from a laboratory. Of course as with many natural products you don't get the same results as you will with plastics and chemicals but heck you might live a bit longer too and that could be worth having hair that wasn't quite as shiny and bouncy as the kind that you get with a Proctor and Gamble plastizer shampoo and conditioner. Nor do you have to kill off all the creatures downstream you're your shower. Nobody is regulating the chemicals in cosmetics and body products. The industry is supposed to "regulate themselves" but when it comes to corporate profits we all know how well that is working... You pretty much have to look out for yourself these days really. I recommend the Organic Avalon Lavender Hair Conditioner for your hair too!

I have been trying out Avalon hair care products on and off for years since they first appeared on the shelves some time ago. Most recently I have tried another round of their newer products including Organic Lavender Nourishing Conditioner. I must say that I was disappointed yet again. Effectiveness I have fine hair which needs lightweight conditioning. This conditioner does not feel heavy to put it on, but the results are less than stellar. I found it made my hair weighed down, droopy, and floppy. This is something I have not experienced in some time now. I had the other people in my family try it as well, each with different hair type and none of them liked it either. Either it left hair floppy or it made hair look greasy too early. My husband's dry wavy hair ended up looking frizzy and drier than usual too. Scent I like the scent of this conditioner- it is lavender and herby in fragrance and pleasant to use. If only the conditioner didn't leave my hair looking so bad!

One of my friend who is interested in Hair Health made me know that "Organic Avalons Conditioner Lavender Nourish Therapeutic". As a matter of fact, aspect of its price... I am not satisfied. But the quality is excellent! Quality is more important than pice. I think so. Even though such high price, I bought it at Whole Food. I have very sensitive hair skin. As a result when I purhcase Hair Conditioner, I choose very carefully while I'm checking some reviews about Organic Avalon. It works well to my hair. I mean it makes my hair health. After I clean my hair, I can find "my hair is polishing". Just try it!! I can make sure for you. Although the price is hige than I think, it is worthy to invest for "Organic Avalon". other Avalon's goods are also good. Especially I love Avalon's Vitamin C Cream. Anyway if you want to change and improve your hair health, invest your money and your time. My husband also loves it. Just I want you to feel your healed hair. That scent is also great! You can try and You can get and grab enough moisture. You need to try simply and feel it. And review like me!

I tried this years ago, because it is cheap (on sale in drugstore.com) and it is organic. Everyone gets crazy for the product when they see 'organic', I would assume it is almost all nature, it is good for health. First, I don't know whether it is because it is organic, the scent in the conditioner and shampoo is not very pleasent. It has some kind of essence oil scent , which I really don't like. Second, it is not working very well on my hair as other non-organic product. My hair is still dry after using the conditioner. my hair became very frizzy too. Well, at least it won't make my hair falling and trigger some dandruff. I guess I am just not so used to organic shampoo and conditioner. I don't think I will use it again. It is not very popular in the store either. Never think about to try other organic brand shampoo and conditioner again. i will stick to regular commercial brand. they are not organic, but worked for me.
