I use a lot of the Avalon Organic products, and the store I buy them from just started selling the Aloe unscented body lotion. I was a little disappointed that it was unscented because I enjoy the smell of their products. I looked online to see if they made this lotion with a scent, but I couldn't find any. I bought the lotion anyways because I had read some really great things about it. When I put it on, my skin didn't really absorb it. It just kind of sat on top of my skin. For about 20 minutes, my skin felt slippery from the lotion. When it dried, it left a sticky feeling on my skin because it didn't soak into my skin at all. I didn't the lotion would benefit my skin because it wasn't getting into my skin. After a few days of using this lotion, I began to notice that my skin was a lot softer. If I skipped a day or two of using it, I could really tell a difference. So, I really like what this lotion does it my skin, but I wish it absorbed better.

Scent There is no scent, so that is great if you're sensitive, or if you like to add your own scent. Effectiveness It is smooth and silky and absorbs without being tacky or waxy. This is a great lotion because it has all natural ingredients, so you're not absorbing petrochemicals or weird stuff into your body.

I love this hand and body lotion. I especially love the fact that it's unscented and doesn't trigger any allergic reactions in me. There is a light aloe scent, but it's not an added scent--it's the aroma of the aloe ingredient. It's very light and not irritating to either my skin or my senses (nose). This is a great product--a little goes a long way. Scent Just a very slight scent of aloe in this product. No added aromas. No added artificial scents. Non-irritating. My eyes don't water, and I don't get a headache from a heavy perfume smell. Absorption Very good absorption. You put it on and within seconds it has sunk into your skin. My body skin is very dry, and it sinks it right away. On my hands it does leave a little trace of residue, but it soon fades. Within a minute or two it's okay to pick up delicate things or anything where oil would leave a trace. By then it's gone. Until you once again use a soap product on your skin, this formula lasts and lasts. Effectiveness Makes your skin very smooth very quickly. I had rough elbows and knees, and without doing anything else but applying lotion two or three times a day, this roughness went away. I make sure to apply it morning and night as well as any time throughout the day that I remember to. For the rest of my body I find that using it right after showering gives me the most benefits--it's absorbed right in and I'm left with smooth, non-greasy skin with no rough spots or scaly areas. Any of my previous dry itchiness has gone away since using this brand lotion.

I keep this lotion on my nightstand, in my bathroom and in my kitchen. Basically, anywhere I wash my hands, this lotion is there. The aloe vera in the lotion is healing and rejuvenating for my skin. I have really dry skin, especially in the winter time. Avalon Organic ALOE Unscented Hand & Body Lotion is amazing! I slather it on my legs after I shave to prevent the dry, scaly look. I love putting it on after a bath or shower to keep my skin soft and smooth. When I'm cleaning, I put this lotion on constantly since I don't usually wear gloves. It serves as a protective barrier for my hands. My hands feel moisturized for hours after I put it on, yet they never feel greasy or oily. I love the convenient pump, so I can just grab a squirt quickly. I don't have time to open a bottle and shake the lotion down to the spout. The organic ingredients truly do work better than their synthetic counterparts. My skin actually feels nourished, not just coated. Scent This unscented variety is mild and pleasant. There is no strong smell or harsh, chemical fragrances. Absorption It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft. Effectiveness It's great for my chronically dry skin.

Everything Avalon Organics makes is great, but this may be their crowning achievement. A deeply hydrating lotion that absorbs almost instantly, has no fragrance and doesn't cost an arm and a leg is something that I never thought would be possible. I was soooooo wrong! Aloe is wonderful for the body, inside and out, and Avalon Organics utilizes it perfectly. This lotion absorbs into even the driest of skin quickly, leaving a non-greasy but protective layer on your skin that can last through a couple of hand washings. It even helps the skin on my shins that painfully sheds like a snake in the cold weather, leaving them soft and pain free. The fragrance is minimal, coming from the natural ingredients and not artificial perfumes. Safe to use on every member of the household, from infants to Grandpa and beyond, because of the all natural make up of the product, it seems like a no brainer to me. This scentless lotion from Avon has worked out really well for me so far. Of course the fact that it is organic is a huge benefit to my skin, I feel extremely fresh and silky soft after using it which makes me feel great. Scent I actually really enjoyed the fact that it is scentless, I feel that it reacts nicer with my skin and that I can wear it around those I know with allergies to perfumes. The smell is a very mild clean smell. Absorption The absorption rate was really fast in my use with it, after two days of using it I started seeing a big difference in the smoothness in my skin from the aloe and vitamin C nourishing my skin and making it really feel soft and vibrant. Effectiveness Super effective, all the ingredients go together perfectly to accomplish a deep moisturizing effect. After a week of using the lotion morning and night my skin was soft enough for me to be able to cut down my use to once nightly before bed.

I absolutely love using this product. Avalon organic aloe unscented body lotion really does an amazing job. After I use this product I can tell a real difference in the texture of my skin. After about two weeks of using this product twice a day every day I started to notice real results. My skin was now smoother softer and had a definite glow. Even my husband noticed a difference. In the winter I said for some harsh and dry skin that flakes. This winter I didn't worry about dry or flaky skin because I knew with my Avalon lotion my skin would no longer be rough and dry. I actually also really appreciated that this lotion is unscented. I also really like that this product is organic that way I know what I'm putting on my skin is safe and wont hurt me later. Scent This particular product is unscented. Absorption This lotion doesn't magnificent job of absorbing. Never worry about having sticky or oily skin when I use this product because as soon as I put it on it moisturizes and vanishes. I really love this organic lotion. It is not thick or oily. Absorbs really well into the skin and because it is unseated you can add your own essential oil for sent. It does not have any harmful chemicals so it works well for people with sensitive skin. Scent It is unseated so I love that! I have really sensitive skin and perfumes make my skin break out really bad. My toddler is the same way so this lotion is perfect because it is unseated. If I want a sent I just add an essential oil like lavender or orange it does not irritate the skin and makes us smell nice. Absorption It does absorb really well on the skin and does not leave an oily residue. However it sometimes did not absorb immediately. I guess because of the oils in it, but I felt like the absorption was pretty close to most lotions that I have tried before. Effectiveness I felt like it did a great job! My skin was smooth and hydrated! I could tell that my skin stayed hydrated and did not need lots and lots of lotion. One application went a long way!

I love the Avalon Organic brand because I trust it to give me quality products without harsh chemicals. I really like this lotion most of all because it is unscented. I also love the way it feels on my skin and how quickly it is absorbed. I can use it all day, every day because there is no scent to irritate my skin. I really love it! I would definitely recommend it to people who want to avoid perfumes and scents in their lotion. Scent I love having an unscented body lotion. I am very sensitive to fragrances, and hate using products that have a scent. This Avalon Organic unscented lotion is my current favorite. Absorption It absorbs quickly without a sticky residue feeling. It goes on cleanly and smoothly. Effectiveness This lotion really is effective on my dry, winter skin. I tend to get really cracked knuckles in the cold weather, but this lotion really helps to alleviate that. It also gives me protection against all the hand washing that I seem to do. This is a great general hand and body lotion. The price is very reasonable for an organic product and it doesn't have anything in it I would object to. I have been very pleased with this lotion. Scent This is an unscented lotion, and true to label, there isn't much you can smell at all. Most unscented lotions still have a smell, this one has a faint scent of aloe when you first apply it, but it's not strong or unpleasant like aloe gel or aloe plants. The scent dissipates entirely within a couple of minutes. No one will know you are wearing it even if you have to use it on a large percent of your body. Absorption One of the best in this category, this lotion is as non-greasy as they come. It takes very little time for me to rub it into my skin completely. Effectiveness This is a middle of the road lotion as far as treating dry skin. While it's a great product, it is not sufficient for extremely dry skin or hands that are repeatedly assaulted by water, damp wind or other harsh weather. I think this lotion will work best for anyone who has average-dry skin. If your dry skin is severe or you have eczema, I would recommend looking for a product with shea butter as this lotion will likely not be sufficient for you. (I speak from experience, I have struggles with eczema due to severe dry skin)
