Aussie Sprunch Spray Strong Hold Pump Reviews

I have been using Aussie Sprunch Spray for years. My hair goes into "shock" without it. Along with the new looking bottle i got disapointment. It does'nt smell the same, my hair doesn't feel the same, and it does not hold as well. I am very, very upset about the change. I don't know what i will use now. and i have been trying to visit every store that sells it to see if there are any "old" bottles.  I'm very saddened.

I've been using Aussie's Sprunch Spray for over 12 years and I absolutely loved it. My hair is naturally curly, and this was the only hairspray that I could use that didn't dry my hair out, tamed my curls, and added shine. I was very disappointed to find they not only changed the grape smell to something intolerable , but the formula that worked so well, now doesn't hold, tame, or make my hair shiny. On top of that it left my hair feeling dry and sticky. I will never buy this product again unless they changed the product back to the original.

I had just ran out of my Aussie Sprunch Spray and I went to the store to purchase a new bottle. I noticed they changed the look of the bottle and when I got home and used it I noticed the scent was different as well. It made my hair smell sour. My sister made a comment that something smelled like feet, It was then that I realized it was the new aussie sprunch scent that was in my hair. I have been using the same products for years (Aussie sprunch strong hold and Aussie volume Maximum hold) and was extremely dissapointed in the new formula of the sprunch spray.  Instead of my defined curls which were a little crunchy but still moveable my hair now looks and feels extremely dried out ~ like straw and it no longer has the smell that I used to get compliments on all of the time.  The only good thing is that the company is refunding me $7.00 on the two bottles that I had purchased.  Now I am going to have to probably spend a couple hundred dollars to find a similar product comparable...

Just the Facts - I've been using Aussie Sprunch Spray since back in the 80s when the routine was mousse, spray, curl, spray the curl while it's still in the curling iron, release curling iron, spray again, carefully brush the style into submission, spray liberally again, direct hairdryer to the sides of my hair to create huge wings and spray until crispy and shiny.  Aussie Sprunch was my trusty 80s Texas-sized hair product that I could not live without.

I love the old product of the sprunch spray. It was a MUST HAVE item. I picked up two bottles of what I thought was the same product, new bottle. WRONG! My hair looked awful and I couldn't figure out why, then I sprayed some of the new product on my hand and it smelled awful and had no "stick" to it. I absoulutly loved Aussie Sprunch spray and used it for so many years! The scent alone was amazing and I always got asked what perfume I was wearing when I wasn't even wearing any! I am so unhappy with the change they made to this product!!!!! It no longer smells the same and it makes my hair feel like there's loads of product in it and makes it extremly dry and frizzy. It's also very hard to wash out! and I'm finding myself using more conditioner than I used to. Please bring back the old Aussie Sprunch!!! I'm so upset I'm going to have to find a new product!

I discovered this past month that one of my favorite products (Aussie sprunch spray) wasn't the same. I first noticed that the bottle got smaller in size. Went from 10.2 fl.oz. to 8.5 fl. oz.Then I noticed when I starting spraying it in my hair that it smelled different? I starting reading the label to discover that my worst nightmare was coming true and that Aussie had changed the formula! Why would a company decide after nearly 20 years (that is how long I have been using this product) that we're going to change a product that has been selling successfully for decades? This drives me CRAZY?...
