Aussie Sprunch Spray Strong Hold Pump 12 oz Review

Pros - No frizz, good curls, long lasting, DELICIOUS smell, can be used on naturally straight hair too, only $3-4, easy/low maintenance
Cons (not many!) - kinda crunchy (as hairsprays tend to be)

Possibly the only way I can come close to describing my hair is by letting you in on my childhood nickname -- Medusa. My mom would comb my little blond bob to perfection, only to have the back flair up in what can only be compared to a giant rat's nest. My hair has darkened, but the rat's nest has not gone away.

I was "blessed" with--as everyone else sees it--lots and lots of wavy Irish hair. The way I see it tends to lean more towards annoying, frizzy, and confused. When I let it dry naturally (I am extremely lazy when it comes to getting ready), it generally tends towards the curlier side (especially in the back.. Medusa returns), but the frizzy, kind of awkwardly straight comes out a bit too. As I said, annoying.

SPRUNCH HAS SOLVED ALL OF MY PROBLEMS. For years, girls with hair like mine have "scrunched" their wet hair up to encourage curls. The problem with that, however, is it tends to either fall out or encourage frizz as well. Then Aussie Sprunch comes in-- scrunch, spray it around, maybe flip your hair up to spray the underside as well, and you're golden! Nice, wavy, NON-FRIZZY, scrunchy sprunchy hair that will last all day. Even better -- it works perfectly for my friend who has naturally straight hair too! This spray is truly unstoppable.

As another added bonus, the smell is unreal, not hairspray-y at all. One reviewer above me described it as "purple," which I think is fitting, but I would also add in a strong wave of gummy bears. Delicious.

HELPFUL TIP: Spray on towel-dried hair, before/after/during scrunching. Let dry. Once your hair is dry, if it feels too crunchy-- run your fingers through your hair (flip and do upside down as well) to eliminate most of the sticky crunch but still maintain the frizzless body and shine. :)
