August Rush —
A fantastic movie! I would highly suggest everyone see it. We were given advance screening passes to it and just went because it was free. I'm so glad we did! The acting was phenomenal! The storyline amazing and the music beautiful. We plan on seeing the movie again, buying it on DVD and getting the soundtrack.The story is somewhat of a spin-off of Oliver Twist. It begins with two musicians who come from very different worlds. One plays in an orchestra and the other is in a rock band. They meet, fall in love, and the girl gets pregnant. Then the real story begins. 11 years later you see the kid in a home for boys. He decides to find his parents who he feels always wanted him. He hears them through music and the story turns out great.
With names like Robin Williams, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Myers, Freddie Highmore and Terrence Howard. It's rated PG, and I would suggest it for the whole family. In theaters everywhere November 21.
The music is everywhere. All you have to do is listen.
