August Rush —
I went to see this movie with my cousins on Thanksgiving. The age groups were 1 (female) 10 year old, 3 15 year olds (two boys, 1 girl), and 2 21 year olds (myself, female, and one guy). My uncle (father of the 10 and one of the male 15 year olds) was a DJ, the 10 year old and myself are saxophonists, one of the 15 year olds and the other 21 year old play guitar, and we all love music. We were all pretty into it except of course the 2 15 year old boys because they had to be "cool" and we were in their hometown. The only part I didn't like was the end. If it's going to be that unrealistic and corny, it should at least be fully resolved. It also bothered me a little bit that Robin Williams plays the bad guy, I'm so not used to that and it was difficult to deal with not liking Robin Williams' character. Other than that, I liked this movie so much it was worth paying $10 for and I always either pretend I'm a child or go to matinees.
