Okay, this film is very cute, but it left so many unanswered questions.
Instead of dragging the film out so long in the middle, I wish it would have shown what happened later on to each of the people who crossed paths with the main kid in the film. There were too many untied loose ends.
Also, I have seen films (or read books) that tend to be mystical or even magical that were very believable. However, I just didn't buy it in this movie.
If nothing else, the movie is worth it for the music alone... Who knew Jonathan Rhys Meyers could sing? There are also a couple of kids in the film (Leon G. Thomas III and Jamia Simone Nash) that I hope to hear a lot from in the future... amazing musical talents.
I recommend this film, but you might as well wait until it comes out on dvd.
