Audio-Technica QuietPoint - Headphones ( in-ear ear-bud ) - active noise canceling ATH-ANC23BK

Summary

ATH-ANC23 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones reduce distracting background noise by up to 90% while offering the superior sound. Engineered to create a comfortable listening environment in areas with high ambient noise, these in-ear headphones feature a miniature microphone in each earpiece that picks up ambient noise (such as traffic, air-handling systems, etc.). Electronics in the control box create a noise-cancelling wave that is 180deg. out of phase with the ambient noise. This wave acts like a noise eraser: it cancels out the annoying sounds that surround you without diminishing the audio you want to hear. The result, a peaceful enclave to enjoy the music or movies of your choice.

Comments about Audio Technica Audio-Technica QuietPoint - Headphones ( in-ear ear-bud ) - active noise canceling ATH-ANC23BK:

First of all, I have already own a Audio Technica ATH-ANC7b and like it a lot. Sometimes when I only travel in a shorter trip, I want to try to get one is easier to carry and easily to store in my cloth pocket. I happened to see Staples have the Audio Technica QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones ATH-ANC23 on sales for half the price. For about 40 bucks, I bought one. The online review seems to relatively good so I took the chance. I used it once in my last trip. The noise cancelation is enough for me although I still like my ATH-ANC7b better. The bad thing is that the ear plug can easily come off. The external battery box is something get into the way. Other than that, it is definitely worth the 40 buck. No regret.
