Cancels out all noises, and fits soooo comfortably

By

from Torrance, CA

Comments about Audio-Technica Headphones:

I got these as a gift for Christmas because the foam near the ears of my old one from the SHARPER IMAGE was starting to flake off. So unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to tell you if this pair is necessarily "worth the money". However, I can tell you that the performance on these headphone is very excellent. Like most noise-canceling headphones, these require a AAA battery to truly be effective (like when you are on an airplane), but for non-travel usage, you will rarely ever need to activate that aspect. The band that goes across the top of your head is of course adjustable, with a nice cushion at the peak. It does leave an impression in your hair after long-term use, especially if you have "poofy" hair, but that is only a minor complaint. I honestly don't see how you'd get around that.

The headphones come in a very sturdy travel case as well. Unlike the SHARPER IMAGE headphones I mentioned earlier, which only had a small draw-string bag as a carrier. This makes it especially ideal for travel, although the inflexibility of the case may make it not the ideal situation for those who like to cram everything as tightly as they can when packing. For me, it works.

No Distractions

By

from The Colony, TX

Comments about Audio-Technica Headphones:

With the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 headphones you can leave your worries behind, well, at least all the noises behind.  These noise cancelling headphones do just that - they block out and cancel all ambient noise leaving you in peace to listen to your music.

I fly over 100,000 miles a year and often see people wearing other brands of headsets, and I have tried on dozens of pair, but these are the most comfortable I have had on.  They fit great over my ears and seal comfortably to my head.

On the left ear cup there is an on off power switch that also has a blue indicator letting you know they are on.  The indicator will also flash if you are low on battery power. Not to worry if the battery does die though as this headset will continue to function even if it does.  You can listed to music with the noise cancelling feature turnded completely off.

While on a plane it reduces the roar of the engines to a barely noticable buzz that the music easily covers - without having to turn them up so loud as to hurt my ears.

Only issue that I had is that the place where the cable plugs in at is relatively tight so finding a replacement for the cable was a bit difficult.
