Does just what the name says!

Comments about Aubrey Organics Glycogen Protein Balancing Shampoo:

It's protein rich and balancing. I've tried all the different Aubrey Organics shampoos, and this one is one of my favorites. I always pair it with their organic conditioners, too. It leaves my hair clean. Doesn't have too much foam. Doesn't lather as much as conventional shampoos, but since it doesn't have any detergents in it, I wouldn't expect it to. Don't expect it to act like chemical laden shampoos. But it works even better and is healthier for your hair, scalp, and skin. Remember, your skin is your largest organ, and it absorbs anything that touches it. You don't want a lot of chemicals in your shampoo running down your skin and poisoning you.

Effectiveness
Leaves your hair manageable, shiny, easy to comb. Leaves it clean without using detergents and other unnecessary ingredients.

Scent
A very, very light scent. Excellent for those who are chemically sensitive such as myself. Nothing over powering. Smells natural.

Aubrey Organics GBP Shampoo: who knew hair could be this greasy?

By

from Beverly Hills, CA

Comments about Aubrey Organics Glycogen Protein Balancing Shampoo:

I love Aubrey Organics, and I've been using their shampoos and conditioners for years.  But Aubrey Organics's Glycogen Protein Balancing shampoo and conditioner set was a real disappointment to me.  I have hair that's on the dry side, allowing to me wash my hair only twice or three times per week, but using this shampoo (ostensibly for "normal hair") made my hair so greasy that I felt the need to shower every day.  No matter how well I rinsed, it always felt like there was still product in my hair when I stepped out of the shower, leaving me with that feeling that my hair would never even properly dry because of the sheer amount of grease clinging to every strand.

I know lots of people who love this product, but it's certainly not for me.  I'm sticking to Aubrey Organics's Honeysuckle Rose shampoo and conditioner set for dry hair - amusingly, their shampoo for 'dry hair' doesn't make my hair nearly as greasy as their shampoo for 'normal hair'.
