No Carbs Are A Killer

A carb addict, watching my weight, forty something, a busy person
Pros

    fast results, Good short term if you stick with it, no calorie counting, eat foods like bacon, can eat meats and cheeses

Cons
    even fruits, veggies & grains are NONOs, super restrictive with carbs, Not good for Diabetics, Initial Carb restriction too low, I don't think it's healthy long term

All of the low carb diets make sense in the grand scheme of things.  Unfortunately for someone who is in the beginning stages of type 2 diabetes but with sever hypoglycemia this diet did more harm than good.  It's unfortunate because with discipline this diet really does work and it also helps you to move away from eating so many unhealthy foods.  I actually hit a point where I began to crave green vegetables. Almost any diet will work with discipline and lifestyle change but if you have blood sugar issues beware!
