My Mom purchased my EeePC as a gift. I LOVE my Net-book. It has all of the basics that one needs, and it is compact, and light weight.
I will never go back to a full size laptop. The size is perfect for toting around to school, and work if I need to. It only weighs about 2 pounds, so it is really light.
The EeePC has been pretty reliable. I have had no issues to date with any crashing, or any freezing.
This PC has all of the basic software. The only thing that I do not like is that I have to buy Anti-Virus, and the basic word processor, like Microsoft Word. Because it does not have any drives like...

For customers that are always travelling, or not able to access a power source often, this Laptop should top priority. It is advertised that the battery is to last 9 hours. In all honesty I haven't need to use the lap top for quiet that long of a stretch, but I have gone many hours, day and worked on many projects without a problem. When it was time to charge the battery the cord given was long enough to be comfortable sitting where needed and not running out of room.
