So I spoiled myself todat and bought the new Eee from acer. The product reails for about $450 including taxes CAD. — — I am 26 years old and I am a full time university student (I am back at school for the next 4 years on my bosses bill). — — I have a huge backpack full of text books and binders because I refuse to purchase a locker. Just purchased Asus' EeePC and I am very pleased. I instantly removed the dumbed down Linux OS that came with it and put on Windows XP. It runs perfectly find and is perfect for a Internet browsing, Document writing, Email checking machine. You definitely won't be encoding any video with the weak processor that comes with it, but for everyday tasks, you have a very nice computer about the size of a paperback, but even thinner! — — A couple cons are the small keyboad size.
