Most HelpfulThis is an amazing little machine. I personally do not own this product, my boyfriend does. However, I liked it so much I use it more then he does now! This computer packs a lot of power for it's size. It can run Windows, which is great for casual users that might not be familiar with Linux. ...

Most HelpfulThe Asus eeepc is a little bitty computer, with a screen just about as large as your average Youtube window. The keyboard is a little mini too, and I'm not terribly fond of it - pressing the space bar and a couple of the letters is harder than it should be. Since it's a bit tricky to type on anyway because...
read full review »I first went shopping for a netbook because my main laptop is large, bulky, and nearly impossible to use on an airplane, and I did a decent amount of comparison-shopping first. The Asus Eee series is a little bulkier than some netbooks if you get the six-cell battery for more battery life, but that's a minor tradeoff to my mind.
The screen resolution's a little small, but it's reasonable, and with the 1 GB of RAM and 120 GB of hard drive space on here, I could use this as my main computer for just about everything. It's very lightweight and easy to use and carry around, so I've ended up bringing...
read full review »I bought the white EEEpc 900 with Linux about 6 months ago... If you're buying this tiny computer for communications (ie emails, skype, and such.) It's ideal. The built in speaker and microphone have been great. Wireless. Light weight. (About 2-1/2 pounds) I take it in my purse when traveling and move it from room to room in my home (like a cordless phone) when using skype to talk internationally.
However, for much more than that, it is very limited. Some glitches...Every time automatic up-dates take place, it goes down and I have to reboot. However, customer support has been great at walking...
read full review »The speed is way faster than some of the full size laptops. The first time I used it, it takes a little getting used to. Considering the size, very small but you'll get used to it. Its very portable fast in getting connection through wifi. The graphics are very sharp, the sound is good. I connected some pc speakers and it sounded great. Going through different site is a breeze, opened three different windows and it was still fast. Watch a movie online and it was awesome, its like using a portable dvd player but with keyboards. Its really light, I can hold it with one hand while using other hand...
read full review »I just purchased this pink Asus Eee PC 2G Series notebook (netbook) and am a little disappointed with it. The overall size of the computer is perfect - you can easily slide it into your tote bag or your carry one luggage. The problem is when you open it up, because the viewable area of the screen if much smaller than you would expect it to be. I was expecting it to extend almost to the sides of the top of the notebook, but it doesn't - it stops at least an inch on each side. It would be much better to either keep the overall size of this machine like it is and use a larger screen, or...
read full review »When my Mac broke I bought and eee pc and I love it. Of couse it cannot compare with my mac but for the price its perfect. It is so compact you can take it anywhere. Its great for people who just email, surf, etc. I would not recommend it if you want to use it with an mp3 player (iphone, ipod, etc) due to the lack of memory. Otherwise it is a great little computer. The screen and keys are a bit small fo revery day use but its portability cannot be beat.
