Aspercreme Pain Relieving Creme Review

Growing up when we had aches and pains my mom would always put Bengay on us. I remember it burning for a few minutes before going off to sleep.  I can not complain about the healing effects of BenGay it always seemed to make us feel better. 

When my daughter had a back ache a couple of years ago I put some BenGay on her back. She screamed and cried from the burning pain.  Since I had, had it on me several times as a kid I thought she was just being a bit over dramatic, but we ended up washing it all of, so she derived no benefit from it.

So I went in search of something that would give the benifits of BenGay with out burning the skin.  I noticed Aspercreme when I was at the pharmasist.  I bought some and brought it home.  This time my daughter did not complain and fell right to sleep after I applied it.

The aspercreme came in both 3 oz, and 5 oz tubes.  It is not expensive but it certainly is not cheap either,  a 3 oz tube will run you around $7.50 and a 5 oz tube around $11.00.  The creme is white and smells a bit like BenGay but less intense.  There is a brush applicator at the opening of the tube.  So you can brush on the creme and not have to touch it with your hands.

A few months ago my husband hurt his back and he was in such pain he could not sleep.  I got out the Aspercreme and it helped to get to sleep.  Of course he still needed to get pain medication and muscle relaxants to get it to heal, but the Aspercreme did provide enough relief for him to get a good nights sleep. 

A couple of weeks ago I had a garage sale, Everyday for a week I spent time cleaning the garage, and getting the garage ready for the sale.  I also started working out again that same week.  After the first day of the sale my feet hurt so badly I could barely walk.  A nights rest did nothing to reduce the pain.  The next day it was even worse.  I tood some Ibuprofin which helped a bit but they still hurt.  That's when I noticed the Aspercreme in the cabinet.  I rubbed it all over my feet that night before I went to bed, and my feet felt 90% better the next day.  They still hurt a little, but not so much that I could not once again run my garage sale, and still go for a walk after it was over. 

I am taking the Aspercreme with me on vacation, and now I know I will not have to worry about having extremely sore feet during the whole vacation I will be able to do all the walking  I want.
