Ask.com Review

I don't use Ask.com as much as Google, but I do use it a lot. It's a great search engine and in my opinion is just as easy to use as Google and has just as good results. I use it fairly often for basic search, images, and news, and it works great for all of these.

What makes Ask better than Google is that it's a lot more respectful of your privacy. Google tracks all of people's searches, with their IP address, and as far as I know there isn't any way to opt out. Ask has a cool feature called the "Ask Eraser" which enables you to tell Ask not to store your IP address with your searches. I really like this because I don't like the idea of search engines tracking people's Internet activity.
