I've been in class since 02/26/2008 and so far it's been a pretty good experience.  My financial aid award was received yesterday and I didn't receive any grants, which was for the most part expected.  I'm happy with this as long as my tuition is covered.  I'm in the Psy202 class that is required, even though I've already taken the exact same class at another college.  I guess I can understand why people would have to take it since some people in my class can't even figure out how to post their assignments.  My advisor has been great!  She calls at least once a week and sometimes twice a week.  The enrollment process went well (way better than Azusa, now that was a nightmare).  I received a $100 book voucher and they waived the $55 application fee.  My advisor was clear about the fees and tuition for the most part.  All the information was online and I did my research before begining school.  Blackboard (the online classroom) is at times annoying, but once you get a hang of it it's pretty easy.

I happen to have about 100 credits from a combination of Community Colleges and Azusa Pacific University.  The community colleges are of course cheaper, but I had to stop working full time to attend.  APU was about $30,000 a year for tuition, books, and fees.  When looking at how much most private colleges cost I think Ashford has been a bit of a deal.

I have trouble understanding people that assume that they are going to get all this free money to go back to college!  I have a huge college debt, but it's been worth it considering how many more job opportunities I've had since I've been in college.  Anyone who assumes that they are somehow entitled to a free education is truly misguided...

Overall, my Ashford experience has been great.  I recommend it if you have a busy schedule and you are looking for a school to assist you in completing your degree.
