If you think Smooth Away sounds too good to be true, you would be right! Upon seeing the commercials for the product on tv, my immediate thoughts were, that would be really great if it actually worked. It claims to smooth away unwanted hair in a matter of seconds. In a local pharmacy I saw that Smooth Away was on sale, so I decided to give it a try since I have an aversion to the pain associated with other types of hair removal. The so-called "hair removal" surfaces feel slightly less abrasive than a typical nail file. At this fact, I felt even more skeptical, but I continued with the process. As suggested, I showered first and dried off so that my skin was slightly damp. Arms, legs, short hair, longer hair, thinner hair, thicker hair, damp skin, dry skin, 10 seconds, 10 minutes, not only did I not notice even a slight removal of hair, but the product didn't even smooth my skin as I had expected it to do in the least! A ridiculous waste of money. How companies can blatently scam people like this is beyond me.
