I love to cook, unfortunately I hate to chop!  I just can't ever seem to find the right knife, I need a new cutting board and whenever I pass the job off to my sister when she is visiting she complains I just don't have the right equipment.  (She is a kitchen gadget snob). So the other day when I received a...

I love the way this chops my onions and celery, etc, but it takes way too long to clean between the squares after chopping.  The cleaning tool is good, but still takes longer to clean than is worth the trouble.  A mini food processor I own is easier to use as it cleans up in a snap.  Looking for uniformity? ... review »

I have a large famly and preparing food takes time and effort. My four sisters and I used to sit and peel and dice up potatoes by hand to make delicious mashed potatoes. I regreted it everytime when my mother threw a sack of potatoes on the table, I just knew what we were going to have to do. Recently, I purchased an item that changed the way I felt about cooking. I purchased the Chop Wizard Chopper. This product is amazing. All I have to was peel and put a half potato into the top lid of the chopper and push. The potatoes were chopped up in little squares. The best thing I like about it was that...

At first it seemed like another kitchen 'gadget' that I didn't really need. 'These things never work' is what I usually say. I've been through a dozen different 'chopper' type products and most of them have let me down.

This one was the exception. It's very easy to use and keeps everything together to there's far less mess then chopping with a knife the old fashioned way. My kids often fight over who gets to help mom and do the chopping when we're making dinner.

I would recommend trying this chopper out.

This is definately a must have for every kitchen.  If you like to cook, you will definately want this product. It cuts down on the time that you spend slicing and dicing.  This would make a great gift for a housewarming gift or an anytime gift for someone that likes to cook.  I know that it has made my job in the kitchen a lot simplier, and who doesn't need things a little simplier nowadays?

This chopper is the best thing to use if you don't want to make a huge mess chopping.  Don't get me wrong you still need to whip out the chopping board but only to size down the food being chopped.  I love the idea that the container holds everything so there are small bits everywhere and clean up is easy.

Got this as a gift, thinking it was not going to be that great, but I was suprised at how easy it works and how good it works.  I should have got one a long time ago....

Purchasing The Vidalia Chop Wizard Chopper is one of the best moves I have ever made.  My husband loves potato and macaroni salad, but the time and hassle of chopping all the ingredients was so time consuming that I avoided making it.  I tried the Pampered Chef chopper, but I didn't like having to repeatedly hit the blade chopper.  It was easier for me to just chop the vegetables and it took about the same amount of time.  But with the Chop Wizard, you just prepare the vegetables, (skin the onions, remove the seed from the pepper, wash the celery) then cut them into pieces that will...

I'm usually very skeptical of anything I see on TV - but I was able to get a first-hand account of the Vidalia Chop Wizard thanks to my job.  I am the host of a local radio morning show, and we have a group of community moms that reviews items and then comes on the air to let our listeners know which of the  products they've tried  is definitely worth seeking out, and which they should avoid.  We did an "As Seen On TV" segment - and the Vidalia Chop Wizard was given firmly positive reviews!  Then my daughter saw the piece referencing the Chop Wizard on my station blog page - and called to...

As a new "cook" and someone who is still unsure how to properly use a knife I was reluctant to spend the money on this product.  After using it once I was a fan.  No, it is not a food processor or mandolin but these products cost a lot more and I would have to read the instructions.  The Vadalia Chopper is so easy to use.  It is surprisingly strong.  I actually stood on it the other day trying to chop a hard apple and it held my weight.  Positives are it is inexpensive, easy to use, easy to clean up (dishwasher), and strong for such a cheap little thing.  Drawbacks are I wish the cutting... review »

I bought my Vidalia Chop Wizard at Kohls on a whim right before Christmas.  I used it the first time to chope veggies for soup and let me tell you - this is one of my favorite kitchen gadets ever!  It chops the food in uniform pieces and offers two blads so you can chop to medium and small chunks!

I have used it several times for soups and stews and look forward to using it for salsa in the summer.

I find clean up a bit of a hassle.  Food tends to get caught in the top portion of the chopper - they provide a comb-like device to help get the food out, but it takes a few minutes to get the unit...

I bought this because I had seen it on TV so many times.  I wanted it from the beginning but I thought it would never work the way it does on TV.  But then I saw it one too many times and I ordered it.  I figured what did I really have to loose.  It was only $20.  Well, it turns out to work even better then demonstrated and I just LOVE IT!!!!!  It is the best thing I have bought for my kitchen in a long time!!!

I don't know what took me so long to buy the Vidalia chopper.  I love it!!!  Chops veggies and potatoes in seconds.  I've used it for fresh salsa and for stews and chilli in the crock pot.  I especially like the dicing blade...makes small uniform pieces.
