Tony Little Gazelle

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

While the Gazelle is very quiet and folds nicely to store, as far as providing a good cardiovascular workout, I found it to be not very effective. Being in an apartment, I was looking for a piece of cardio equipment that would not make a lot of noise because I didnt want to disturb the neighbors and I needed a piece that I could fold and put away when I was done. The Gazelle definitely did that. However, I didnt want to just buy something quiet and storable, I wanted something that would raise my heart rate, and get me to break a sweat. The gazelle did not perform. Even at the most highest resistance, it did not provide the challenge I was looking for. Maybe this fitness piece would be for someone who is not in good shape or is just starting to exercise, but I would not recommend it to someone who is already fit. It is not challenging enough.

Great machine!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Great workout machine! I've lost 20 lbs on this sucker and am still aiming to lose more. Like any workout equipment. You must be consistant and always making your workout harder than the last. This machine's ability can only be tested if you are honest and determined to really workout correctly and daily as needed. The fact that it's foldable is always a plus. Take it out to workout and watch TV at the same time and not feel like a couch potato. Once you are done you can put it away without ever even noticing that there was something in the living room that takes up space. Another plus is no electricity needed for this machine, take anywhere and use it there without hassle. The downfall is that it's not too fun.

Gazelle is a great workout and it's fun too!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I saw the gazelle on TV and it looked like a lot of fun so I ordered it years and years back. I still to this day use it and love it! It is the most fun piece of exercise equipment and it is no impact so it doesn't hurt your knees or your joints. It is so much more fun than walking or running and much more fun than any other aerobic exercise I have ever done. It folds up so you can put it in the corner and it easily rolls in a closet or under a bed for storage. My wife and I absolutely love this machine. It is so much fun, it feels like you are running on air. I would highly recommend the Gazelle to anyone trying to get into an exercise program or lose weight. It will have you in much...

Gazelle is fun and easy to use.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have had one of these for a long long time and I still prefer it over any of the new exercise machines on the market. I hate running on treadmills, partly because I have bad knees and the impact kills me. I figure I know this works so why try to find a new exercise machine. The gazelle is no impact so it doesn't hurt my knees or other joints. It is also a lot of fun and it really works. You can get a great aerobic workout, or if you want something a little tougher you can add tension which makes it really really hard. You will be sweating bullets if you try the tension as high as it goes, and it will definitely tone you up and make your muscles burn. Great workout machine, almost a classic now as long as it's been around and I recommend to all looking for a low impact exercise program.

Long time owner

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have owned this product for a little over a year. It is pretty nice to have in the living room, and use while watching tv. It is pretty low impact, and is easy to pay attention to the show, or talk to someone without getting out of breath. I wouldn't say you would get the workout you would if you were on a treadmill, or eliptical, but good if you are just wanting to burn some calories while watching tv. I would say this would be a pretty good exercise if you do it for a long time. I do like that you can target your obliques by doing a motion almost like skipping. if you watch the video, it shows it. It also can be used to stretch out your legs, and side also. If you are planning on going running, or lifting weights it could also be used as a warm up, since it is low impact.

The Gazelle is a great home work out.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We have owned the Gazelle for several years. It is a great home exercize solution. The Gazelle sets up easily, and is easy to use. The motion involved in the exercise puts little stress on muscles and joints. With the gazelle we can have a cardio vascular work out no matter the weather, and without having to go to the gym.

Pros: Easy set up. I can exercise in my own home. Easy cardio vascular workout. Works upper and lower body. Digital read out lets you know your progress.

Cons: The foot rest texture is very coarse. You definitely need to wear shoes when you are exercising. We did have to make some repairs as the cross bar came apart.

Even with the problems the gazelle has been a good investment. It gives a good all-over workout and I would recommend it. I particularly like the digital readout that lets me know the progress in my workout. I also like the fact that by varying whether I lean forward or back I can vary the muscles that are getting the workout.

The Gazelle Glider is a fun workout!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have had a Gazelle Glider for a few years and I bought it for a fun indoor workout.  It wasn't too strenious on my legs, it was low impact.  I felt like a got a good workout from it.  You can hook up the tension rods to get more tension or you can just use it for plain cardio.  I had to put it in front of the tv because it got my mind off of the fact that I was working out.  I usually don't like to do inside workout, but this made it a little more fun.  You can change up your workout to work out different parts of your body.  It also has a cupholder and came with a water bottle.  It has a slot great for holding the remote control to the tv.  If you have dogs, you need to be aware of where they are, mine would try to get under the glider to get to me and if I wasn't paying attention, it would hit my small dogs and I am sure would do some damage.  I would reccommend this glder to friends.  I like that you can fold it up for storage.

as expected

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Most people get caught up in the hype of a product that was advertised on television, only to be dissapointed when it arrives. This product comes with some of that dissapointment but for the most part it is exactly as promised on the program. My mom ordered it and expected a fun and  easy way to exercise. Exercise is exercise and while it can be fun and easy it still is exercise, her expectation was too high to enjoy this product. That said the product does work as promised with a few exceptions. It is noisy. It does make odd distracting noises. In addition it does often feel flimsy during use and you do feel as if it will tip over. Between the two of these it is hard to get a good workout since you are constantly feeling as if it will fall over or apart. In addition it is fairly heavy to move around but it does fold up so you can store it when not in use. I give the product four stars however I do not recommend it, I suggest a treadmeal.

I actually work out now!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I used to have a gym membership - and I never went. I hated getting in my car and driving over there to work out. I had used a Gazelle in the past and liked it. I got it with some Birthday money. It was fairly simple to put together. I actually exercise now! I think I used it more in the first two weeks than I went to the gym for a year. I folds up and fits in the nearby closet - but I have learned that I need to keep it out in front of the television to actually do it. I like it because I can be downstairs in front of the TV with my husband while we watch our favorite shows. I don't feel lazy for watching TV - I can exercise without wasting time driving there. It keeps track of the distance...

Barely left my closet.

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I ordered the Tony Little Gazelle after viewing one of those late night infomercials that led me to believe that I would end up having a fun and rewarding experience on this machine.  I have some lower back problems, so the idea of a rewarding excercise experience that was low impact was very appealing to me. I tried using this piece of equipment for months and all the while was trying to get the hang of it.  Whenever I would start to move quickly, I would have the feeling like it was going to tip over.  The legs would lift off the ground scaring me into slowing down.  I also never got the sore feeling after a workout since my muscles did not seem to be fully engaging like they would after a run or brisk walk.  I was also very disappointed with the "silence" of the equipment since it made a weird wooshing/squaking noise every time I was on it.  I could barely even hear the TV over the noise.  Bottom line, I ended up selling it on a popular on-line sales site.

Tony Little Gazelle

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

For a small, takes up little space, exercise equipment, this thing does the job. I am a lazy exerciser and bought this used thinking if nothing else, it would be a good quilt stand. Wrong, it is a good work out. I recommend 30 to 45 minutes every day which is akin to a brisk walk. You will notice results after a couple of weeks. It folds up flat, no electricity is needed and sets up in front of the television to work out and exercise simultaneously. I have since convinced serveral people to buy one.

The Gazelle helps to keep you active.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Gazelle is great for those who don't necessarily work out on a regular basis. If you're overweight, like me, it's a great way to keep active for 10 minutes a day rather than sitting on the couch. I see dramatic results because I'm overweight, however I wouldn't recommend this product for those already in shape. It's very simple and easy to use, so I don't think workout buffs would find they're getting much of a workout.

Overall, I love it!

I love my Gazelle!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have been using the Tony Little Gazelle for two years. I have not lost weight, but I have lost three dress sizes. This is only using it about once a week. Just think what I could accomplish if used as recommended?

The Gazelle gives me an excellent workout without leaving home.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have put nearly 400 miles on my Gazelle and it's still holding up well! When the weather's too hot to jog or walk I use it as a good alternative indoor exerciser. I love that I get a good arm workout as well. I find it works slightly different muscles than jogging, along with the arms, so it's a nice change and very low to no impact. It's also very uncomplicated to use, and doesn't even need to be plugged in!

It's not how it looks on TV

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have to say I was very disappointed in this machine.  It's not the workout it appears on TV and, as you move your legs, your feet move around on the footpads - it's not comfortable on the foot.  And, it really doesn't give the upper part of the body that great of a workout.  This is ok, not as great as seen on TV!  I was definitely disappointed.
