As Seen On TV Shark Steam Mop Review

I wanted to strangle my husband when yet another infomercial item arrived on my door step  Since he was at work, I decided to open the box to see what he had ordered this time.  I could tell it was some kind of floor machine, and looked simple enough to put together,so I thought I'd try that before he got home.  I was right - super simple assembly!  When I read th direcions & it said steam in less than 30 seconds, I - the all time pessimist and disbeliever - had to prove that was false.  :Lo & behold, there was steam in less than 30 seconds!  So of course I had to try it out.  My kitchen flooring is a tired, dull  wood, that really needs refinishing.  When I was done steam mopping it, it was shiny & bright!  It even had a smoother feel!  Now. I've neer been one to clean my floors regularly, but now I really have fun with it.  THIS PRODUCT REALLY DOES WORK!!!!! 

I have only three complaints.  First, it comes with a carpet glide, but I think that's a waste.  I don't see the point of shooting steam into my carpet, and it doesn't clean it.  Second, the long handle is not very sturdy. I'm afraid that over time this will bend.  Last, there is no on/off switch.  You have to plug & unplug it to turn it on or off, which isn't always convenient when you've moved into the other room which the extra long cord easily lets you do!
