As Seen On TV Original PedEgg Review Summary

The As Seen on TV Original PedEgg is a little egg shaped foot smoother that safely "shaves" off dead skin and callouses. The skin is contained in the PedEgg and disposed of so there is no mess to clean. Our reviewers liked this gadget in general. Although they say it doesn't work quite as well as the TV infomercials and commercials say it does, it still sloughs off dead skin from calloused, dry feet and leaves them smoother and softer. Well, I saw this on TV and they said it was awesome and you could use it anywhere and that the little yuckies that come off your feet stay in it...

Well, it does work wonders on your feet. Better then anything I have ever tried. The results were instant and it was more gentle then anything I have ever...

Limited Edition
Pink Ped Egg

I've seen the Ped Egg advertisements on TV several times, but I was never interested. I always had a hard time believing it would get rid of calluses and dry skin on the feet. I was shopping at Walgreen drug store a few months ago and saw that they were selling the Ped Egg....

Quick View: So it was about 3 a.m. and I watching some mindless TV show and some mindless commercial came on about an egg shaped foot file that collects dry, calloused foot skin as it gently shaves it off. No mess. You can get silky smooth feet without having to gross everyone and yourself out by using a foot file and having the skin fly all over. It was 3 a.m. and that sounded like a GREAT DEAL! I bought one for myself and one for my sister. It's OK but certainly not all that!

I was skeptical about the rave reviews and ad info about the Pedegg, and was reluctant to purchase via the infomercials which charge very high shipping fees. I finally saw and purchased one at Walgreens: AMAZING! My feet were terrible from living in the dry climate of AZ and living in sandals. I had tried "foot dressers", files, pumice stones and creams with minimal and short-lived results. One short session with Pedegg had my feet almost where I wanted them. Two sessions left them in better shape than they have been for years. I added a little intensive therapy cream and I am IN LOVE with my Pedegg!... read full review »

Every year I try to get two pedicures - one in the spring when my feet are really dry and nasty from a long winter and another in late summer after they've been abused by going barefoot all summer.  Pedicures are expensive though (about $75 for a good one in my area) and I'm low on cash so I've been trying to do my own.

I have a callous shaver that I got from a beauty supply store that works really well to slice off the dry skin and callouses on my feet.  But I'm also a total infomercial junkie and could not resist trying the Ped Egg. I liked the idea of the egg collecting all the grody stuff...

If you struggle with getting rid of calluses on your feet like I do, this product is awesome. I have nasty feet - before finding the ped egg only a trip to the nail salon would make my feet feel smooth and clean again. The ped egg is used on dry skin and gently removes the calluses from your feet. I was skeptical at first that you didn't have to soak your feet first, but it really does a great job.It doesn't hurt either (a big concern for me). Alll the dead skin is neatly collected and contained in the egg. It's kind of gross to see all that dead skin,  but it's a solid testament that it works!... read full review »

When I first logged on to their website everything looked very simple. Once I entered my debit card number, I kept getting pop up screen after pop up screen, trying to get me to purchase additional items. I mean it was neverending!

Every FREE thing that is offered on the commercials costs extra money to "ship" to you so they aren't actually free. They totally inflate the shipping costs so that it pays for the extra products.

I waited, and waited, and waited for my Ped Egg to arrive. I never even opened the box. RETURN TO SENDER was immediately placed on the packaging and I put it in my mailbox...

The Ped Egg

I have tried literally everything to take care of dry skin on my heels and feet, from creams and lotions to regular pedicures.

Nothing worked until...

 The Ped Egg!

I'll admit...I was skeptical, but for $10, I thought I'd give it a dry.

I had smooth, baby soft feet after the first time!

I use a foot cream afterward, and use the ped egg about twice a week.

I empty it the container into the toilet so that dry skin doesn't go everywhere when trashcans are empties (I know...sounds gross, but what can you do?)

Now I don't have to be embarrassed when hubby wants to give me a foot rub.

I love this...

Love this product! I ordered it for my husband and he was excited to get it because he has a lot of rough spots on his feet. It took a bit to get used to using it because it is so small. But once I got the rythm down, the dead stuff started coming off! His feet are like a baby's bottom! Then I thought I might use it on my feet. I take better care of mine than he does so I thought I wouldn't get much off. Boy was I surprised! This thing really works!

I just recently bought the PedEgg "As Seen on TV" from Walgreens and had to try it out the same night.  It is amazing.  I followed the instructions and put it together. This process only took about a minute.  There is very little for you to do, as it is compact already.  After only a few short strokes on my problem areas, I was in awe at how smooth my feet were. I finished it off by using the file to polish it even smoother.  I opened the egg to find it almost full! I could tell that there were still some shavings found on the floor, so next time I will do it over a bag or towel so that...

I received this about a week ago, and have used it several times since then.

I'm pleased with it for the most part, because it does a better job than anything else I've tried, but wish it caught the 'shavings' better.  You have to be quite flexible and coordinated, as it requires you to always hold the pedegg with "buffing" side facing up.  If you turn it sideways, stuff spills out.

When I first saw this in the local Bed, Bath, and Beyond (I missed the cheesy infomercials the first go around), I thought it was something that you grated cheese with.  But I'm nothing if not adventurous, especially when it comes to new beauty products, so I picked one up.  I was amazed at how well it worked!  At the risk of sharing too much information, I do a lot of walking in high heels at my job, and my feet are in bad shape.  But fifteen minutes of using the Ped Egg made my feet baby soft and smoothed out all the roughness.  And the best part of the Ped Egg is that it is designed to... read full review »

The only difference between it and the "pumice type paddle" is instead of the dead skin flying in the air like dust, the pediegg collects it and then you have to empty it out.  My husband compares it to a mini cheese grater!  LOL!!  But, if your heels are really bad like mine from wearing sandals and too cheap to get pedicures, it's not such a great new invention.  I have carpel tunnel syndrome in both arms and it take A LOT of work for someone like me.....

The Ped Egg has been a Godsend for me! No matter how many lotions, scrubs, or pumice stones I use, I always have cracked and dry feet. The only time my feet ever felt smooth was been right after getting a costly professional pedicure. I can honestly say that with the very first use, the PedEgg more than paid for itself by making my feet baby smooth and silky without the cost and inconvenience of a salon visit. It is also very efficient to use and is not messy at all. Massage your favorite lotion into your feet after use to feel especially pampered!

Though the main website for purchasing a PedEgg...

I'm so happy that I found out about PedEgg.  The only reason I even know about the product is because my boyfriend bought one at Target, and I saw him using it.  I tried it on my feet and it worked wonders. I have always had dry heels; they were always rough and course. I bought a product from Bath and Body Works and it did help to slough off the dry skin but I stopped using it after my boyfriend bought the PedEgg. The first time I used PedEgg, my heels felt smoother than they had been in a long time. I try to use it regularly but doing this review reminded me that my heels are due for another...
