Arrested Development —
Sadly this show will never make it to Season Four. In what was dubbed a season finale for Season Three, everyone was forced to say good-bye -- the Bluths included.This show is brilliant. A smart comedy with layers upon layers of jokes, plots carried over episodes and seasons, and some of the most unique characters (Charicatures!) that have ever been created.
From the comedic gold of the minds of Ron Howard and Mitch Hurwitz as well as the talents of the dead-pan Michael (Jason Bateman) and comedic icons like Jeffrey Tambor, "Arrested Development" was so outstanding that EVERYONE on the show has now gone on to more and bigger projects, as a direct result -- Just look at "Superbad", "Mister Magorium's Magic Emporium", "The Kingdom" .... "Dodgeball!"
And that's the other thing! Just count the guest stars...everyone and their mother! (literally!) Can you find all the Frat Pack Members?
The show is, was and forever will be great. A timeless classic shot down before it's time but will no doubt live on in infamy!! We can all at least take solice in the fact that the show ended on the highest note possible--before they "made a huge mistake!"
