This rice cooker is one of my favorite rice cookers that I use when I'm cooking for myself only. It's a small cooker, but it gets the job done right. I have never had a problem with any of these; the rice cooks right just about every time. Of course, that also depends on the correct proportion of water to rice you put in. Otherwise, assuming I measure correctly, the rice is always tasty! This is also a great way to steam vegetables, meats, and other things. The only set backs to this rice cooker is the fact that it has an automatic shut-off/warmer, so if you want to cook the rice longer, you can't because the button will pop back to warming as opposed to staying on the cooking button. I tried to make congee (rice porridge) one time, but the cooker kept popping back to the warming side, and I just got frustrated and gave up. So, this is a cooker that should only be used for simple rice cooking and steaming. Cleaning up is pretty simple as well since the metal pot slides right out. It's not nonstick, but as long as you soak it in water for ten minutes or so, washing it is fairly easy!
