I am new to the world of rice cookers, and now I wonder how I ever lived without them! I make rice a lot for my family of 4, mainly because it is a cheap filling ingredient, but sometimes I would get distracted and forget about the pot on the stove cooking my rice. Ruined a pot that way, so I thought about investing in a Rice Cooker. Now this is not top of the line in anyway, but for someone who is new to the Rice Cooking scene, I really recommend it. You add your rice and the water to correspond with the type of rice. Push the button and go. The outside of the machine stays cool, while the rice gets perfectly cooked inside. The see through lid is just a great perk. The Aroma 7Cup rice cooker comes with a steaming basket so you can steam your own veggies, and the bowl inside is removable for easy cleaning. I have used this rice cooker to make my morning oatmeal, put my oats in with water and then take care of the morning routine for my kids. When I am done, my breakfast is waiting for me!

I have the Aroma ARC717-1G 7-Cup Rice Cooker and I am satisfied with its performance. There is a lot of consumption of rice in my family and I have a couple of rice cookers in different sizes. The Aroma ARC717-1G 7-Cup Rice Cooker is one of the good ones out there. My rice is always fluffy and does not stick to the bottom. I have heard some people complaining about their rice sticking. I would recommend checking the rice instructions. You need to adjust the quantity of water or may even need to soak the rice for some time before starting cooking in a cooker. I have also tried steaming vegetables and corn in a steaming basket using the Aroma ARC717-1G 7-Cup Rice Cooker and they turned out quite well. I have also tried different varieties of rice dishes as well like a saffron infused rice porridge. I have had a great experience with this cooker so far and would recommend this product!

It is a wonderful (simple!) device. Performance This rice cooker by aroma does the trick. I have no complaints. Ease of Cleaning I have yet to have a problem with rice burning and sticking to the bottom. To clean it up requires little more than a swirl of warm water and a quick swipe with a soapy sponge. I let mine air dry. I do not know if it can go into the dishwasher but it is so easy to hand wash that the dishwasher really is unnecessary. I have not had to clean the base since it only cooks rice and rice does not create much of a mess. It looks like it could clean up easily enough, if needed, with a warm, damp cloth. Ease of Use Add the appropriate amounts of rice and water. Cover. Press button. Wait. It is about as simple as rice can get. We occasionally make brown rice in a pot and that requires more thinking than this machine needs. Durability I am always careful with this since I had one shipped to me as a gift and it was broken. I got the same model in store with no issues. The pot balances on the heat element button, so I am always cautious not to jostle it around too much, just in case. Design This is not the bells and whistles digital version that I have seen on other models, but it does not need to be overcomplicated.

I first purchased the Aroma 7-Cup Rice Cooker about a year ago. I use it all the time, not only for rice but for many vegetable dishes also. The cooker heats up quickly and cooks evenly every time. I like that the Aroma 7-Cup Rice Cooker is really simple to use. I just add water, rice and let it go until its ready. Clean up is extremely easy with the nonstick surface. Most of the time, I can just rinse with a little warm, soapy water and wipe it clean. This rice cooker has been very durable as it has held up to my continuous dropping. The Aroma Rice Cooker looks is smaller but is big enough to serve larger size meals. The small size is great for easy storage. I have enjoyed using the Aroma 7-Cup Rice Cooker and think that it has been a great addition to my kitchen appliances. After using the Aroma Rice Cooker, I now say that it is a definite necessity in my kitchen. I would most definitely purchase the cooker again and would recommend it to everyone.

Even though it's dishwasher-safe, you don't really need to put it in there. A sponge and some water will do the trick. Ease of Use Again, you have to measure and prep your rice the right way. I'm part Asian so Iearned to rince the rice once and then cover the rice with water until it's about an inch above the rice. After that, it's just a matter of covering your rice and pressing down the cook button. When your rice is done, it switches to a "warm" mode. I am so thankful that I purchased my Aroma ARC717 7 cup Rice Cooker! At first, I thought I was spending a bit too much for just a rice cooker. Over the past year, I may have actually used my Aroma rice cooker more than any other appliance in the kitchen. Performance The Aroma 7 cup rice cooker makes a perfect batch of rice every time. Whether it be long grain, brown rice, or even quinoa, the Aroma rice cooker does not burn the rice or leave any sticking to the bottom. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning the Aroma 7 cup rice cooker is so easy, even my husband can do it. As stated above, food does not stick to the bottom of it. In addition, I am able to throw some of the parts into the dishwasher. I don't know how cleaning the Aroma rice cooker could be any easier (unless it cleaned itself...) Ease of Use The Aroma ARC717 7 cup rice cooker is super easy to use. Just throw in the rice, the water, and anything else you may be using for flavoring or spices, throw on the lid and hit the button. It will pop up to warm once it is done cooking.

My husband and I love Aroma Rice Cooker. My husband was the one who bought this product, and I'm so glad that he made such a good choice. The 7-cup size is just perfect for my family of three. I usually only use half the size but it still works great and produce great taste of rice. I don't have too worry about the amount of water I pour, because it doesn't need the perfect comparisson of water : rice. The lid cover is transparent so it is easy for me to see the progress of the cooking, and estimate when the rice is gonna be done. It's cooking bowl can be removed,so if there are some rice left, I can easily put the bowl in the fridge. The outer part of this appliance is also always cool even though it's being used, so if we accidentally touch the cooker, our hands won't get burned. It also comes with a steam tray which is very useful for cooking vegetables, to warm meat, etc while cooking rice at the same time. The price is also great for such a good quality.

I got mine as a gift from my mom and I love it. I cook rice about 3 times a week. I like that I can just throw the rice and water into the cooker turn it on and not have to worrie about the rice. I don't have to stand there and check on it all the time or worry that it will burn. I also like the fact that I can take the boxed flavor rice and mix it all into the rice cooker and it still comes out great!!! Performance The rice comes out good nice and tender and cooked all the way. It's easy to make sticky rice and any kind of rice in the cooker. Ease of Cleaning The cleaning up of the rice maker is really easy to even if you live the rice in there for a day or 2. Ease of Use It's really easy to use, All you have to do is throw in the water and rice turn it on and walk away until it's done. There is no need to check it or stir it. Durability It is really durable Ive dropped it once on my hard wood floors and I was surprised that it didn't break or dent at all and that it still worked great!

I have had this cooker for about a year now and it works just great. Makes the rice perfect every time. I have noticed one brand of rice sticks to the bottom but I just dont buy that brand anymore. The current brand I use makes white liquid come out of the little steam hole but the rice cooks so perfect I dont care I just put a napkin on my counter. Easy to clean.
