Army Wives Review

army wives...

               this show has taken off, soaring to the top of the ratings from the moment it began. being an ex- military wife myself,i had half-way expected it to be nothing but torrid affairs and back-stabbing plots. but, i was way off base. this show tells the heart of what it means to be a military wife. it tells both sides, the good and the bad! trying not to lean to either side in a favortism manner.                                                        

              the story lines are funny,sad, even heart-wrenching. an example, could be the episode of the young wife who was pregnant had a youn child, and had recently been widowed. her 6 month grace period had expired, and the military had sent their personel to her home to basically evict her. she couldn't bring herself to leave, due to her memories with her husband. kim delaney's character,along with sally pressman's cahracter went to aide her. after talking, she was able to pack her belonging's and return home. this episode had me in tears, because what many don't realize is that, this is how it works.. if a wife loses her husband, or vice-versa they don't need you nor want you anymore.. this is an extreme shock for most, but it is the reality of the situation..
