The show about Army wives is so accurate about how the military treats wives and how we end up sometimes having to go it alone. As a retired Army Wife, I feel as if I am reliving the whole experience again. My husband is like Pamela husband, gone all the time. I saw him only 2-3 days per month. This show is to the point, especially with the children. It is very hard on teens who have to move around a lot. High School is so important and to have to move during your junior or Senior year is devastating. Thank God our children were out of HS when we moved for the final time. I am hoping that when the 3rd season comes around that we can see more about the impact on the young ones lives. The show showed a little about the younger ones and with Emmaline a lot. I just hope that this young soldier realizes how much trouble he is really going to be in, especially if they have sex.

Moving is very hard when your in the service. Sometimes you only get to be in one place for a year, sometimes longer. As for the Officers Wives, Jennifer is so accurate, always kicking the enlisted wives around. All ways assuming that if your married to an enlisted personnel that you do not have a college education. Boy was the one Officers wife I met so wrong about that one. I just happened to have a doctorate degree in emergency medicine. So as you watch this show keep in mind how hard it is for the real Army Wives who have to keep going even when they must go it alone and in dealing with the bureaucracy of the military.
