An overall great product that I wouldn't want to live without

Pros

    Baby sleeps right next to me, Easy to hook onto bed, Nighttime feedings are so easy

Cons
    Difficult to set up initially, Hard to get out of bed, Still have to sit up to get baby, Mattress seems too thin or uncomfortable

Arms Reach Mini Co-Sleeper — 

I bought this so that I would have the baby right next to me at night since I knew I would want to check on her constantly and want to be able to look over and see her right away.  This product certainly allows for that.  The baby won't sleep in it at night, however.  She does fine for daytime naps, but at night she fights it.  We were able to place her carseat in the co-sleeper (it fits perfectly) and so she sleeps in that.  I'm fine with that and still love the co-sleeper because it allows for her to be next to me.  I wish the mattress was a little thicker because that may be what keeps her from sleeping on it.  She is a newborn so she may just be fussy.  Regardless, there is no other product out there that allows such closeness and yet peace of mind that she is in her own bed and not ours.  It was hard for my husband to put together even though he is very skilled at assembling.  It was easy to attach to the bed and has never been an issue since.  I do have a hard time getting out of bed because the co-sleeper is right where I would normally exit, but that is the purpose of the sleeper (to be right next to you!).  On the nights we did manage to get her to sleep in it without her car seat I still needed to sit up in bed to get her for feedings because she sleeps lower down than me.  That's no problem to me because I would rather do that than get out of bed to get her.  If you can afford to buy this I would.  It really provides peace of mind for first time parents.
