I saw an advertisement fort the Arm's Reach Universal Cosleeper in Mothering magazine and thought it would be perfect for us.  We are advocates of attachment parenting and like the idea of cosleeping.  Unfortunately my baby is a light sleeper and would wake up after feedings when I tried to move her off of our mattress and back into the cosleeper.  Luckily we have a king size bed.  For the most part it is just holding our burp cloths and extra blankets right now.  It is hard to get out of the bed because it is very large and you have to scoot down to the bottom of the mattress to get out (very difficult after a cecerean).  It took a while to set up and is heavier than something like a pack'n'play so is therefore less travel worthy than a product like that, and it also does not convert as easily.  We will probably just use it as a playpen once our daughter begins to sit up and move around.  For now, it's not really serving a purpose, and it was not cheap.  It is more attractive than a pack'n'play, but not as functional.
