When I first rescued by first kitten Lou, the first thing I thought of buying for him was a cat tree just like this. I've always seen these fixtures through the windows of other houses and in shows and movies and they always looked like such cool things for cats to have. They seem like an equivalent of a tree house for human children. I picked this six foot tall cat tower up for my cat Lou and it is still here with us years later. It has lasted a surprisingly long amount of time given that I now have more than one cat who both love to scratch and jump all over this tower. I love how this tower is a big size that can actually accommodate two cats and I love how it is not difficult to clean. Both of my cats spend a large amount of their day on this cat tower and I don't know what I'd do if it weren't for this tree. If I didn't have this, my couches and carpets would probably get all scratched up!

I bought this on Ebay, it was the best purchase for my cats they all love laying on it, running up it, sleeping. It is a furniture savor. They can stretch to scratch, which all cats love, it's soft for sleeping, they love sitting on it's many levels and bird watching. All around great product!

I am a cat owner and I am also a cat rescuer so I always have multiple cats in my home. I wanted to find something to keep all of them busy and to give them a surface to scratch so they wouldn't use my furniture. I went looking at several cat towers at my local pet store. They were quite expensive. I wasn't sure how rough the cats & kittens would be on it so I really wanted to try a less expensive model. So I decided to look online and I found the Armakat cat 6 ft. cat tower and purchased one for the bedroom. I picked a coordinating color and hoped for the best. When I received this cat tower I was impressed. For a fraction of the cost of the cat towers that I saw at my local pet store I received a high quality item that was very easy to assemble. My cat were drawn to this cat tower before I even had it assembled and have been playing on it daily for months now. I'm going to purchase another one for the computer room on the first floor of my home.

If you have a cat or mutiple cat's in the house this is a must have as cat's love to climb and scratch. I actually have two of these in my house and they are used daily. The cat's climb, scratch and sleep in the cat tower. Depending on how much room you have tou can get a smaller version of this. I have a big one and a smaller one. If you have lived with out one of these for this long don't wait any longer you will want to get one. You can get many differend colors and sizes so you can make sure that it fits in to the decor of the house. Get more then one and put in different rooms on different levels. You cat or cat's will love you for this one. I went for 5 years without having one of these and I don't know whay I waited so long. I would buy them cheap scratching posts and they would only last for so long and then they were in the garbage. i do't have my cat's declawed so thwi was necessary for the cat's so they would have someting to scratch on. And once I got it they were instantly in love wiht it climbing on it cahcing each outer up the tower and scratching it. When they were all done playing then i found them sleeping on it. The qualit of mine are great I have not had to replace on since I have gotten one and I have had the first on for at least seven years. SO don't delay in purchasing one ofe these for you four legged family members. They will be thinking you for it. It does require some assembly if you don't get one that is already assembled but it was really easy so a person with not a lot of skill can put one together!!

I probably have more cat furniture in my home than people furniture.  I have three cats - Alpheus, Idil and Misty.  I also have two rabbits - Augustus and Edward.  All five of them use the Armakat Cat Tower.  Probably the biggest plus is the three different materials that it is made out of.  Having lived with many cats in my lifetime I know that you have to cater to THEIR scratching needs.  Some prefer horizontal, others vertical.  Some want shag carpet, some like berber.  I have two that love the texture of rope and the third likes the carpet.  And the bunnies nibble on the uncovered wooden parts so everyone is happy.  It is also very sturdy.  The other day Alpheus took a flying leap from the lower cat tower across the room, landed on an ottoman, bounced to the back of the couch and took a flying leap to the highest point on the tower - all in less than 2 seconds.  I was sure the tower would sway and topple.  It barely moved.  Gotta love that.

We have 5 Armakat kitty condos!  Our cats go absolutely crazy over them.  They eat, sleep and play on them all day and night long.  Unike the other kitty condos, these dont tip or fall over when the cats hit them at full speed!  They last and last.  We have had one over 9yrs and it still is in terrific shape--with the exception of a little wear on the scratching posts. Other than that, they last and hold up wonderfully!  I will only purchase Armakat from now on!!.  If you look around you can find them at reasonable prices, depending on what sites you go to.  I suggest to take a few extra minutes to look at several sites for the best deals!!  You wont be disappointed!!!

 I bought those carpet covered round little cat scratch beds. The cats did not care for it so it just sat there in the corner of our laundry room. Then a year later when I was going to give it away to my coworker my cat had her kittens in it.  I bought the three story all carpeted triangle one two the one where the cats can get to the levels inside of it. The only thing my cats liked itfor was sleeping on it infront of the window when the sun shone in.   I took a business trip to the cities and I went shopping for my kids as they love souveniers. I saw this furniture in the pet store window and I thought of my cats. The sleek design , the neutral colors and this was higher for them as they love climbing high on stuff. I thought while they were enjoying the heights the kittens could enjoy being in the condo.   Well sure was way better than wasting money on a bunch of heavy pressboard covered with carpet.  I set it up and it actually looked pretty cute in our living room. The kids ran to go find the cats. I rubbed some cat nip on it to spark their interest. It took a couple of days for them to really start playing on it.   I really love the look of this and every now and then all i do is feather dust damp or get out my little green clean machine works nicly on this. My kids have fun playing with the cats. They use peacock feathers to play with them when their purched up.  We crotched little chaind and put fun little cat bells on the ends and put a couple of stitches in the material to fasten them down so they hang for more added fun. In my living room this is by the window and we added some great suction cup toys like a cute mouse on a bopping little pole and some feathery ones to.   From the ciling we used small sturdy hooks and hung little mice and stuff being careful not to over due it and make our play area too tacky with too much.   This really brought my cats back with the kids as they play and have alot of fun together. At night its just fun for me to sit back and watch them all act like little kittens again and appreciate finally a cat haven that was money very well spent.

This is a must have for a household with cats, particularly if you are a multiple cat household.  I have six cats, all of whom want to use the cat tree at all times.  Three of the six are big cats and most of them like to play rough.  Additionally, one of my (smaller) cats likes to jump from the back of the couch onto the top shelf of the cat tree, which is nearly a foot away.  This has made the tree get a little wobbly on occassion, but it's easy to tighten the screws and get the pieces secure again.  This is a very important feature for me because the cats also like to play and chase on the cat tree and they broke the last one that I had jumping up on it from the floor.  The whole top shelf of my last cat tree broke off and toppled to the floor and then the cats didn't want to use it anymore!  They were all heartbroken until this new one arrived, which I purchased specifically for its stability and height.  The only problem now is that it's a constant battle to see who can get to the top of the cat tree first, because everyone want to be at the top where they can look out and see the wild turkeys in my neighbors yard or look down on the living room and make sure they aren't missing anything that's going on inside the house!
