Arm and Hammer Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner With Oxy Foaming Action gets mixed reviews as it seems everyone is looking for something different in a bathroom cleaner. Those that like the Arm & Hammer are "speechless at how fast this stuff worked" and feel it's "the best thing I have ever found" even after trying the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. Reviewers are even willing to buy this Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner over the internet and pay large shipping charges when they can't find it locally, since it's the only bathroom cleaner available for acrylic bathtubs. The best part of is is that "you don't have to scrub, just spray and rinse." The reviewers that aren't happy with this Arm and Hammer Bathroom Cleaner appreciate that it cleans with the power of the oxy foaming action, but wish it would also disinfect, and complain that while it "works well, it smells awful."

Most HelpfulBoth my husband and my son are diesel mechanics and let me tell ya ... the shower can get F U N K Y.
I've tried lots of things ... even that Scrubbing Bubbles hang from the shower head battery operated thingy ... nothing.

Most HelpfulI used Scrub Free for years because it was a very cost-effective and very effective bathroom cleaner for our showers and tubs. It cut soap scum and whiten tile grouts quickly and easily.
However around May of 2009, the manufacturer quietly and discreetly reformulated the product. The only external...
read full review »The new Arm & Hammer Scrub Free w/Oxy is not "Scrub Free" anymore. It's like you just added a few bubbles to water. It certainly doesn't work like the old one.
I used to tell friends about this product, but not anymore.
Like the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Why did you change it?
Arm and Hammer Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner with Oxy Foaming Action
I have used Arm & Hammer Scrub Free bathroom cleaner for years, and it was terrific, but will find something else since the changeover. This "new and improved" version with Oxy foaming action doesn't do the trick. I might as well use water to clean the tub. Where's the foam? If there's any "old, unimproved product" lying around, I would love to purchase some. If not, I'll try something new.
I have used the Scrub Free for 15 years and have always loved it. The new formula has no bubbles and it's just like cleaning with water alone. Very disappointed. Doesn't even smell the same.
I bought a new home 6 years ago and don't like the tubs. Well, let me clarify: I love that I have a garden tub in my master bath but I don't like that it is made of fiberglass and not porcelain or ceramic like the one at my old house. At my old house I never had to worry about the tub staining because the porcelain surface was easy to wash. However, this fiberglass tub has a textured surface and as the months went by I noticed that there was a yellow ring forming on the tub. I soon discovered that it was from all the shower gels, bathing products, and so forth that I used on a daily basis. ...
read full review »Where did the foaming action go? I've used this product for years and was very happy with it untill the "new improved" formula replaced the old. Now with added lemon for the scent, it has significantly cut the foaming action and does not work nearly as well. Now I'll have to find something else. I am very disappointed wih this product. Haven't they heard, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I own my own cleaning service. I used the old Scrub Free in the houses that i cleaned. I would stand by this product in a heart beat. Used it every day on my customers showers and tubs. Now I think that what ever the company changed in this product sucks. It doesnt clean or even stay on the glass showers long enough to even attempt to clean. How can Arm & Hammer even say that it foams. Doesnt even come close. Also if you are trying to fake us out by the new smell. It isnt working. Way to strong. I am now looking for another product to use in my business. Lost a good customer with the change of...
read full review »Scrub Free for Soap Scum WAS a great product-----but now it's pretty useless. I used to be able to spray it on, wipe the tub down, rinse, and cleaning was done. Now I spray it on TWICE and scrub TWICE and the tub still isn't clean! I wouldn't even give it one star. Time to look for something else...
I go out of my way to shop stores that have the Arm & Hammer Scrub Free Cleaner with Bleach. Many have the OXY but it smells bad and doesn't work as well as the Bleach. A housecleaner will never clean your shower walls as well as this stuff. It not only looks clean but feels clean.
I have been using this product for over ten years; I clean at 11 different homes and have asked all my clients to buy Scrub Free for the bathroom. But the last 4 bottles I have used have a different mixture and it doesn't work. The lemon is so strong, it turns my stomach. There is no foam either from the bottle or on the rags when I wring them out. I am very disappointed that they have changed how they make Scrub Free, but I have asked everyone to change to something else. It eats the skin on my hands, leaves a strong lemon smell, and does nothing special for the bathroom. Buy something...
read full review »Is the manufacturer of Arm & Hammer "ScrubFree" with OxyClean reading this?? Hope so! There is NOTHING scrub free about this product anymore and it DOES NOT foam. Pure and simple the name is FALSE ADVERTISING. I have used the old formula in the white bottle for years and loved it because it did as advertised and worked easily. I'm now going to check local dollar stores to see if they are carrying the old product that worked great. Why oh why would the manufacturer do such a thing?
I have used Scrub Free for YEARS. Not only for the great price, but for the fact that it did the job. I recommended it to everyone. Since the bottle has changed to yellow, the product simply doesn't work anymore. I also don't like the smell of it. I don't understand why a company would change something that worked so well. Very disappointed. I'll be looking for another product.
The new Arm and Hammer Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner with Oxy Foaming Action is anything but scrub free or foaming. Accordingly, the label should be changed to "Scrubbing and Non-foaming diluted new formula solution." Nothing like the old formula.
