We bought the Arm & Hammer brand because we expected it to be of a decent quality, based on brand familiarity. I have since learned that is not always true, sometime brand names aren't as good as the cheap stuff. I do like the scent this litter has it is nice clean light scent. It does an acceptable job as far as litters go, but I do have one major complaint. This product comes in a pasteboard type box, which isn't really a problem but within 3 days I noticed the product remaining in the box was beginning to clump on its own, I know this is not a major problem but it is quiet irritating to use when it is pre-clumped into chunks instead of litter. If you happen to have more than one litter box and can use the product faster than us it would be a good product, but as it is for us, I think I will return to something in a sealed container. I do believe the product itself is a good product with a very poorly designed packaging.

I have been happy with many of the Arm & Hammer versions of litter, but this one is much too scented for me. I can't imagine how it must affect a cat, whose sense of smell is so much keener than humans. I actually didn't notice the fresh scent when I first poured in the litter. Sometimes I suffer with bad sinuses and don't always smell things when others do. However, immediately after my cat used the litterbox I caught a whiff of an unusual and unpleasant smell. It was a mixture of cat urine and one of those awful air fresheners that smell like a chemical version of island breeze or fresh linen. Super Scoop does clump and absorb moisture well, but the fragrance ruins it for me. I asked my husband not to buy this version any more. I'll stick to Arm & Hammer Double Duty from now on. Moisture Absorption On the plus side, this litter does do the job as far as absorbing moisture. It clumps quickly and compactly. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning the litter box is no problem because Super Scoop does clump well and hard. Odor Control I swear, I think the fresh scent makes the urine odor worse.

I only give Arm and Hammer Super Scoop Fresh Scent Clumping Cat Litter an 8 out of 10 because the super powers of baking soda do not work for me. The fresh scent only lasts until the first cat uses the box! I have three cats and odor control the basically the first and most important quality in a type of litter I buy. This one works very well at clumping and moisture absorbtion though. It clumps into hard pieces that do not break apart and cause a mess when cleaning. It is really easy to scoop and does not waste a whole lot of extra litter when cleaning. I just cannot get over the smell. Other litters I have tried and buy more frequently are better able to hold in the smell instantly and will last for about a week with cleanings. This litter seems to need to be refreshed at least every other day. It is too expensive to be using that much litter when there are other brands out there that last!

I have always been pleased with arm and hammer products and this product is no exception. It is possibly among the best in the line of cat care products. It covers everything you don't want to smell or see when dealing with cats. I never have to worry about odor when using this product because it does such a good job of containing any foul scents. Moisture Absorption It does super job absorbing moisture in the litter box. I love this product and would recommend it over and over again. Ease of Cleaning Very easy to clean. The clumping action alone is worth the purchase of this product because there is virtually no mess when transferring to the garbage. Everything is tightly clumped into a ball, so there is almost no work involved in it at all. Odor Control This product does a wonderful job controlling urine and feces odor and the fact that it continues to control nonstop is a huge plus. Ease of Use Very easy to use this product.

I love Arm & Hammer cat litters! They have the best smell right out of the box and mask odors from my cat very well. I like that I do not have to add baking soda like I have had to in the past since it is already in there. This one is the super scoop one, the claims are that clumps are instantly hard enough to scoop instantly. Every time I have cleaned out the litter box using this litter the clumps have been rock hard and do not break up at all. Cleaning out the box using this product is a breeze. It is almost dust free too. Moisture Absorption Absorbs moisture very well and very quickly. Ease of Cleaning Clumps are extremely hard making scooping them very easy. They do not break up and cause some to stay in the box. Odor Control I seriously do not even smell anything after my cat has gone. Great odor control. Ease of Use It is almost 100% dust free so pouring this into the litter box is nice. Nothing comes up in my face causing me to cough or sneeze. Same when it is time to dump the litter.

I am very brand loyal when it comes to cat litter. Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Clumping Cat Litter is hands down the best brand of cat litter that I have used since owning a cat. I have tried all kinds of brands and have found that this brand produces the least amount of "dust" and is overall the most effective. The thing that I am most impressed with is how the urine clumps very effectively with this cat litter. Many of the other brands I have used do not have this feature. Some of the urine clumps, but not all of it. This is frustrating and often leads to wasting a significant amount of the product because of the frequency with which I would have to do a "whole litter box clean out". This is NOT the case with this Arm & Hammer product. I have to do a "whole box clean out" maybe once per month because the majority of the urine clumps up and is easy to scoop out of the box. This cat litter also does a very effective job at minimizing cat box odors. Very impressed!

I have tried Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Clumping Cat Litter on a few occasions--when I see it on the shelf it always looks like it would work better than it actually does. It's not a bad litter, but it would depend on your cats and your own personal preference. My cats don't particularly like this litter; I have four cats so I use a few different litter boxes. If I use different litter in different boxes, they choose the other litter over this one. I don't think they like the smell of the litter, and they also prefer smaller granules. My husband and I don't care for the smell either--it is too strong. We keep the litter in the basement, yet the odor of the Arm & Hammer Super Scoop travels upstairs giving the house a sort of strange smell. I would compare it to powder carpet cleaner. It made my husband sneeze. Moisture Absorption Absorbs, but not that great at clumping. Ease of Cleaning Sticks to the sides of litter pan. Odor Control Controls odor, but I don't like the smell of the litter itself. Ease of Use I prefer plastic containers over boxes because they are easier to pour.I have trI

This litter will do in a pinch. We turn to this if our store is out of the Arm & Hammer Multi-cat. This works near the abilities of the other Arm & Hammer litters, but doesn't stand up if you have multiple cats or high cat use traffic. This is a good litter for one or two cats, but if you go over that, it just won't hold up. It clumps well, has a good odor-control. but just loses it if you do not stay on top of your job of cleaning up enough. The little will get gooey with too much urine and won't hold down the odor well if you do not attend to it as often. I do like it, but not for more than 2 cats. Ease of Use Not too dusty, which is good.

Maybe I got a bum box (or three). This litter suddenly stopped clumping. For the past 8 years, this has been MY LETTER OF CHOICE. Since MArch, every urine clump crumbles into a stinky pile of wet litter and falls back into the litter box. When I try to scoop quickly straight to the the garbage can, I make a mess of the floor. Ye gods! I'm going to have to comandeer my un-slotted serving spoons to clean my cat box

We used the Double Duty and are very disappointed. Too dusty, the cats and people are now sneezing. Doesn't get rid of odors. box is cleaned multiple times throughout the day and the ammonia smell is horrendous. Moisture Absorption clumps great Ease of Cleaning ease to scoop Odor Control not a good litter for odor control. very disappointed, had tried it about a year ago and liked it. Haven't tried all versions of this product.
