Arm & Hammer Kitty litter —

The main reason I first decided to purchase Arm and Hammer cat litter was the price.  Both Target and Cub Foods regularly have it on sale, and with coupons from the newspaper it's a great deal.  The box it comes in is a nice size that I can actually lift without grunting and groaning!  I like the fact that it has a handy pour spout and is extremely easy to open (unlike the common 30 gallon buckets that are impossible to get open!) I also appreciate that it comes in a sturdy cardboard container instead of the non-recycleable plastic buckets.

I have two cats and they seem to like the Arm & Hammer litter.  The litter absorbs any liquid quite quickly, and does well at also absorbing odor.  The one thing I don't care for is that the baking soda smell is quite strong.  You don't smell the cat poo... but you do definitely notice the baking soda at times, even with a covered litter box.  It might not be a good fit for someome who is very sensitive to smells.  The litter doesn't seem to do any worse than any other litter I've tried as far as the cats tracking around the house, and is definitely better than the average clay litter.
