Arm & Hammer Kitty litter Review

I decided to give this litter a try after my sister recommended me the brand when I got my own cat, and let me put it simply: it was a DISASTER!

First I thought the contents in the box I had purchased were defective in the first place. Perhaps the contents were not properly mixed at the factory, not in the right proportions, or something. So I went back to the store and exchanged it for another box of the same product. But it still would not hold itself together. It did not clump hard at all. It just crumbled and fell apart into many pieces everytime I tried to scoop out any soiled areas.

Odor control was okay, and I do agree that the pouring spout was not very efficient in the end. But who cares about all that when cleaning up becomes a nightmare. There were instances in which the wet spots, less than a couple of inches in diameter, turned into some kind of muddy blob that stuck to the bottom of the plastic pan and had to be scrapped off, yuck!

Now I use Tidy Cats Odor Control for Multiple Cats and it works great.

Oh, and I also stopped talking to my sister (... just kidding)!!!
