We live in western New York and have gotten a lot of snow this winter. Our recent blizzard gave us 20 new inches. We bought this in the fall from a local retailer and have been very happy. It clears the snow with little problem. My husband has used it 5 times in the last 24 hours and it has not jammed up at all. Other storms have dumped the wet, soggy,heavy type of snow and this machine did not have any problems moving it off the driveway. It just pushes/throws it off to the 'grass' areas. The controls are easy enough to work and have not had any issues with them. The machine is less than 8 months old, so we have not had any servicing done on it yet. It isn't any larger or smaller than other machines we have had in the past. It's noisy, but I have never met a blower that isn't noisy. We did not do much research (other than our positive, past experiences with the Ariens line) and bought this one on a whim. Overall, I am happy with our new toy for snow removal.

We purchased this in October after moving from the pacific northwest to the Midwest.. much more snowy ;). our first big dumping of snow was 12 inches.. ouch! My husband went out twice to blow the snow on the driveway and the next morning blew the sidewalk down to the corner for the school kids. Both times it ran like a dream. He actually likes blowing the snow! Performance It was able to get through 12 inches of snow without a problem. Handling It handles very smoothly. Will buck a bit when it hits ice but that's to be expected. Makes a big job manageable. Durability We have only owned if for a few months but as of this point we think its great. Update 1/30/14. We have had to have it fixed once, thankfully it was still under warranty so it didn't cost us anything to fix. The problem was one that the company knew about and was having problems on some machines. We also discovered that one bolt snapped which they are made to snap in case it hits a lot of ice that way it doesn't beak the machine. We were happy to learn of this because it did make it run more smoothly with a good bolt in it again. The machine came with a few extra bolts suck to the side in case it happens. Ease of Use Very easy to start and it almost runs itself! Engine Power It seems to be fine with power as well. Can get through higher snow as well has hard snow without an issue.

Besides its durability, this electric start snow blower is easy to use. No yanking to start a cold machine. Simply press to start and it's strong propulsion practically plows itself. The 24" swath means a quick job of cleaning the driveway and walks. Easy to handle, this is the right machine for the ladies and elderly.

My family has used this snowblower all winter and we love it.  We would have never have been able to handle all of the snow that we have received.  It is very durable, easy to use, and your best friend in the snow.

With my dad being gone on business a lot and being the only other person in the house i have no choice but to own a snow blower unless i want to pay the kids on the block everytime it snows to do the house for me. Now not only am i able to do my own house but the elderly people on both sides of me for free as well since they arent able to do it and why make them pay when this blower makes it soooo easy! The snow blower takes all the snow off the driveway and I am able to clear it off so that I can drive my car out with ease! My car is a racing car as well as a showcar and is very very low to the ground, on a normal day i have to back out on a slant so that i dont rub the front, but now especially with the huge snow we just got i have tp be extra careful! This allows me to make the driveyway practically empty so that i can back out with ease and not get stuck in the driveyway. It also sucks up all the ice!

The snow storms in my area of the state can be horrible. I do not like going to shovel and clean the snow, but it must be done. I bought this snowblower because I thought that it looked very strong and that it would be able to clear the snow in the yard quickly. The snow blower is easy for me to push and I do not have to strain my body in order to push it. The snow blower takes all the snow off the driveway and I am able to clear it off so that I can drive my car out of my driveway without messing it up. The snow is thrown a long way away and I am able to have a nice clear driveway in the end. The blades on the front of the snowblower are very sharp and they can cut through the ice and hard snow that freezes in the driveway like it is air. The snowblower is very loud when I use it, so I usually wear a pair of Bose headphones in order to cut out the noise and protect my hearing. This will certainly last me many years.
