This lawn mower/tractor is easy to start; easy to use; a single, disabled widow's way to mow. The deck is wide enough to make a big job done quickly. Performance I use this mower as a lawn mower, and also as a source of mobility for myself outside in the yard and fields. I can hook up my small trailer, and use it to haul garbage; to unload the vehicles of groceries, supplies, sodas; to transport mulch, leaves, boxes and bags of stuff. Handling Turns easily; especially when the nut behind the wheel is paying attention.

Ariens 42" gear drive lawnmower has an eighteen horsepower Kohler engine, six cutting heights and a six speed standard transmission engine with reverse. This lawnmower takes hills well. The all-terrain tires are good for rough, uneven ground. It does ride rough, though. Could have used a better suspension. Its turning radius is pretty much what you'd expect. This mower uses unleaded gas, which is easy to get, at least. The oil needs to be changed once a year. There's a screw-in oil filter that doesn't have to be changed that often. This mower can do two acres on about two and a half gallons in third gear. Some features: headlights, emergency brake, and a cup holder. I like the fact that it's made in the USA. One thing that bugs me about it is that it throws grass back on the mowing deck and that can be hard to clean off. But you might not even care about that. Altogether, this is a good mower and I would recommend it.
