No one likes to shovel - it is a full day activity and hard work! Having our own snow blower is extremely useful and helpful. It is easy to push along the driveway and sidewalks to get rid of the snow. It easily blows it to the grass and clears the driveway. It is easy to start and use - easy for a woman or man. It does not utilize a lot of gas if you are quick and get your work done and don't keep it running when not being used.It is hefty to store in the garage but easy to pick up with two people to bring it in the basement during the summer. As much as I hate having snow (I am a summer person), it is useful and does not strain my back like shoveling!

We purchased this snowblower after a bad snowstorm two years ago and surprise...since then it has barely snowed at all. We have a huge driveway so only a commercial grade type of product would cut it in our house. It worked well during the one storm we had last year. It is not too loud like other snowblowers can be. Also it cuts through snow and ice well. I would recommend this product to others, though we haven't had much use out of it this season since we haven't had a real snow yet. We keep it in the shed, as it takes up some room due to its size. It gets around turns fairly well considering its large size. It got the job done in a minimal amount of time.

We purchased the Ariens SnowTek 2 stage snowblower last year. Due to weather conditions we still have not sufficiently tried this brand out. But our neighbor has had this snowblower brand for years and swears by it. What I can tell you is that it took almost 2 hours to put together/set up. It is a 2 stage 20" snowblower, which is good enough for our driveway and the 60 feet of cement walkway in front of our house. You need to read the instructions in their entirety before using. Also recommended that you register your product with Ariens just in case there is some sort of recall or something similar. You either have to drain the gasoline from year to year or add fuel stabilizer to extend fuel storage life. Also recommended that you clean unit thouroughly to extend storage life (take appropriate safety measures of course).

I purchased this snowblower in September and couldn't wait for the snow to fly. It's February now and I've used this snowblower in as little as 2 inches of snow and just recently our last Wisconsin storm of over 15 inches. I purchased the Ariens because my parents had one for over 25 years and it's American made right here in Wisconsin. Qaulity product worth every penney it cost.

  Ariens is a wonderful snow blower.  We recently purchased a home and are now responsible for plowing our own driveway.  We were worried that we would not be able to find a decent snow blower for a good price.  However, we were very blessed to receive this snow blower from a family member who already had an extra one.  The one we received needed a bit of repair, but after a bit TLC it is running much better than expected.  This snow blower starts up with little difficulty and is very easy to maneuver.  We like that the snow blower is small and fits into the garage without taking up to much space.  However, the size is still good for getting the driveway plowed in a very short amount of time.  I think that if we had a bigger dirveway that we would need a differnt snow blower but for now this one will work just fine.  We are so glad that we were able to get our hands on this machine, and that with a few minor repairs it works as good as new.
