Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? —

I love comedy, but there is nothing funny about adults not being as smart as fifth graders. The kids are cute and of course, very smart.The adults, college educated, most in the top 10% of their class.Jeff Foxworthy is great as the host, making you wonder if your really correct after answering the $25,000 question.He can really leave you hanging before a commercial.I usually don't watch reality televsion, but these games shows are great.I feel pretty good each night, being able to answer most questions correctly, but at the end of every show, I too have had to say "I am not smarter than a fifth grader".Not one person has won the $million$ dollars yet, and I'm not so sure anyone is going to be willing to risk a half million to try to answer a question in which they don't even know what catagory it's in.To get to the million dollar question you must first answer 10 other questions , ranging from first grade to fifth grade(and yes, I've seen people flunk out in the first grade) with different catagorys.If you are successful enough to get to $500,000 you must then decide whether to take your money or go onto the million dollar question. If you do , you are allowed no help from the class, and you don't know the catagory.I keep tuning in, hoping someone will be brave enough and smart enough to answer that question.So far, no luck, but I'll be back next week hoping that someone out there is smarter than a fifth grader!
