Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? —
This is a genre that really promotes doubt of your own intelligence. The questions are "to the point", the kids are quick to answer--then Jeff plays with your mind. A few "are you sure?" and you are really doubting your own ability.It is very educational and provides a great refresher course for most of us. It gives one a great sense of accomplishment to do well and a terrible crush of defeat when you miss an easy question.
You develop quite a lot of respect for the school system and wonder (a lot) if you were ever taught some of this stuff.
Over all, it's a good way to sharpen your thinking abilities.
